Close up encounters with incredible birds. Staff is all bird heros. I learned a great deal and was very impressed by the work done by this organization.

Lots of seating. Informative and entertaining. They told us that they couldn't show us the snowy owl for long, as she doesn't like the warm weatherI think this showed a nice concern for the birds' welfare. Afterwards, we could take a photo in front of one of the birds without having to pay extra.

The flying displays here are awesome as the birds are well trained and the trainers are very knowledgeable about them. Shows are usually 3 times a day in summer and twice a day in winter with different birds for each show so you could easily spend the day here.

Brilliant place to bring kids. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and let the children get up close to the birds. Enjoyable for both kids and adults. We went to the alliwee caves in the same trip and both were very interesting.

Absolutely fantastic centre. In addition to visiting the centre itself and watching a few of the shows they put on to educate about the various birds they have, we also went on a private hawk walk where you walk around with the hawk on your arm. The hawks will fly off during the walk and the guide will call them back to you, amazing to watch the acrobatics they pull as they fly back. Aside from the beautiful hawks we got to walk with they also house many other birds of prey including owls, eagles and vultures. Absolutely amazing experience to be so close to these beautiful animals and highly recommended.

There are 3 things to do here, and combining them for a few hours on a combo ticket is well worth the time and cost. For 18 euros we were able to start at this Birds of Prey center, and we certainly enjoyed walking around the different birds, in spite of the fact that I warn you their audio guide is not working on many of the birds. What makes it awesome is that the people who work with them are incredibly nice and happy to show us the birds up close and personal. So we spent a good half an hour with James who took out an amazing falcon, and held him for us, fed him inches from us, and gave us and a few others a demonstration of the magnificent bird flying and even chasing a toy he had. That up close experience made it special.
Then the cheese and fudge shop was adorable, it's right next to it, and some very friendly women gave explanations and samples of delicious cheeses and fudge, as well as a great explanation of how the cheeses are made.
After that we went up the hill to the cave and got a great 30 minute walking tour into the cave. For 18 euros we were very happy with our afternoon and can easily recommend it.
