Good service and products but rewards system is a scam 1% points which don't apply to gift cards you purchase and your points expire annually

Called in to get a sample in the estee lauder counter, there wasn’t any estee lauder staff member available at the time, so a member of staff from another counter served me, I simply asked for two different samples, which took nearly 10 minutes convincing before she would give them to me! I would have being happier to have to pay for the sample instead of the hole interrogation! The attitude for the staff member is the one reason i won't be returning to purchase from the store again!

While the merchandise is often lovely, there isn't a very big selection (especially in clothes). Staff members at makeup counters can be rude, to be honest. There is very little procedure for giving samples to try at home before committing to a purchase - EVEN with another purchase. With products this expensive it ought to be standard procedure to allow the customer to test a small sample for a few days before committing to buy. Staff can also seem to be unknowledgeable about makeup, for instance trying to insist that one colour foundation will suit a customer with an entirely different skin tone; or giving a different packet of lipstick than the one requested by the customer.
