A great place for everyone. Fantastic walks and lovely to go see the changes each season 😁
Easy stop from Galway to Dublin with food and a huge park to walk around. Pets are welcome on leash.
Really enjoyed the grounds, however this year the place was not as well kept as usual and the resturant food was good but seemed understaffed. Perhaps it was a bad day and we can all have them.
I had an amazing day here. Lovely place to visit and lots to see. Beautiful views of the lake. Animal and child friendly with a cafe and gift shop on site too. Nice food at reasonable prices 👌
Great scenery and walks weren't too long. Was disappointed there was no tour guide especially for the house and would of love to have seen more of the house but overall the grounds is what makes it, perfect for families
The house and gardens were beautiful. I was surprised there was no guide on the walk around the house. The grounds and walk was beautiful. The coffee shop let it down. Staff not pleasant and food was cold.
Beautiful house in the most amazing setting you could spend the whole day having adventures here with the family
“Belvedere at Beautiful Lough Ennell”
I brought the family to Belvedere house in the expectation that we would be able to wakl the banks of lake Ennell. When we arrived we realized that the cost for a family of 5 to do this would be in the order of 27euro. We decided to give the walk a miss and enjoy the beautiful confines of the covered courtyard and cafe instead. Ironically the money we saved on an admission fee was spent at the cafe. My advice is to ring ahead to confirm if there is anything you can do for free or if there is anything more than a garden walk worth paying for. The google streetview tour of the gardens are excellent.

Really like the time and energy put into the grounds around this house. Especially the children's book references such as the lion the witch and the waderobe. Those statues placed randomly through the woods were a nice touch
As a season ticket holder I visit regularly with my 5 year old. We love it and always enjoy the day out and pic nice if weather allows.
Daily prices are quiet expensive for family's, other than that 5 stars ✨
Lovely grounds with follies and the main house to view. Can't comment on the price as we had vouchers but perhaps it wouldn't be worth it if we had paid full price as there wasn't a whole lot to see in the house so essentially it's just a walk in a big park.
Still, we had a nice day and enjoyed the scenery.
