Absolutely love this place. It's like a little time machine. Well worth a visit. Don't forget to go to the shop also - some lovely examples of Avoca scarfs and other good quality clothing and food. The staff are genuinely friendly and enjoy a good chat

Loved looking at the material being woven. In the shop l feel in love with a coat but not to be. Sizes seem small.
We went to cafe for late lunch. I had the chickpea and my husband the sasuage roll with 3 salads which we shared. Food was lovely and tasty.
All in All our trip to Avoca was lovely.
Definitely somewhere l will be recomending.

I had visited a couple Avoca locations and restaurants in the Dublin area and been a big fan. While driving back to Dublin from Kilkinney, I saw Avoca on the map and figured that's where the stores originated. We took a chance and drove through Avoca to find the original location of the Avoca Mill. It was originally a community owned mill that was privately bought and restored. While visiting the Mill you have the option to take a self guided tour to understand more about looks and blanket weaving. The tour was incredibly interesting and gave me a new found appreciation of their woven blankets. Definitely worth a stop by if you are near the area!

Fantastic to see into the workings of a real weaving operation in Ireland when so many have disappeared over the last decades.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Food lovely in the cafe.

Great shop with lovely creations. Bought some lovely soap, great locally-made chocolate and some creative woven clothing items. It is a pity that the workshop is not open for tours on weekends! Will need to go back for it!

Amazing! Really interesting history. Definitely tour the mill, so fascinating. The store is amazing as well. So many neat products both from the mill and elsewhere. Great staff who also gave us some additional Irish history and a great lunch recommendation!
