Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff and great for functions. The bar is nice to sit and relax in or have something to eat.

Nice hotel but a bit dated carpet smell indicates that looks a hit tired but otherwise everything is good.

Great hotel rooms are clean and well maintained.

A Friendly relaxed atmosphere from you walk in the doors. Restaurant and Carvery serving excellent food and you can even book ahead. Was once the choice venue for weddings in the north-east and still does a fantastic job today, just more hotels and venue options available today.
They have a very large function room for up to a few hundred people along with other rooms catering for smaller groups.response / report this review -

Excellent food at fair prices. Really good service. Nice ambience. This only gets 4 rather than 5 because there is always room for improvement. For me it would be more comfy seating. But that did not detract from a high quality bar meal experience. Highly recommended.
