  The altar stones are also interesting and have a interesting story behind it.

  Atmospheric location on the Wild Atlantic Way, steeped in sacred ritual and honoured through the ages . The wedge tomb at Altar is part of our history, culture and tradition. It is easily accessible with the convenience of a small car park adjacent. Children should be accompanied by adults for safety as the rocky shoreline is elevated and exposed.

  Very scenic area with cliffs and rocks. Children should be accompanied at all time. Ample parking and room for a number of campers / Wildcamping
