  Always get a decent sandwich and coffee here. Bookstore is cool too. I'm assuming it's called bark because of the really friendly dog hanging around :)

  I love books and when in D6 I always visit Alan Hanna's Bookshop where I find they have it all, or at least they try to. Not only do the very knowledgeable and helpful staff assist me with all my needs they have a wonderful kids section with every school book I have ever required. They even have comfy seating in a quirky cafe (with baby changing facilities - very important) and the best coffee in Rathmines - what more could a busy mum need?

  OK just to get the ball rolling here, I'll start things off with a completely unbiased review ;)
  
  Great independent bookshop full of knowledgeable and (mostly) friendly staff. If they don't have what you're looking for then they'll do their best to find it for you.
  
  Top this off with a loveable shop dog (Molly) and a cafe serving amazing sandwiches and 'proper' coffee at a price so reasonable you'll be throwing them tips at the staff.
  
  Sure what more could you want?
