Really nice hostel. Nice clean rooms, good showers and really helpful staff. The hang out area downstairs is a great size too. Would stay again.
fabulous place.. ver central location..spotlessly clean. great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. would definitely recommend and will use again.. keep up the good work!
We had a lot of fun at this Hostle. It has a great, very central location which is perfect if you want to see the sights. The facilities were cleaned daily and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. It was also easy to buy transit passes from the front desk which made figuring out transportation so much less stressful. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Stayed at a number of hostels in Dublin during our travels, would say this was my least favorite. Price and location were good and staff were friendly, but the place is pretty dingy only has about a dozen private toilets (that I could find in the maze of a building) which really was uncomfortable waking up and needing to go to the bathroom only to be confronted by lines. Breakfast was decent, with fruit, toast, cereal, and coffee. Never got to use the hammock room because the place was so packed. If you're looking for a cheap bed in a jam-packed dingy hostel go for it. Don't think I'll stay here again personally, there's better spots in town for the money.
We were guests in one of their apartments for 5 nights. The apartment was clean and there was more than enough room for our needs. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location in the city is pretty much unbeatable.
I'm giving it two stars because the location is phenomenal. Within walking distance to trinity college and lots of restaurants, pubs, and shops. The hostel itself was very small, cramped, and not very pleasant. We reserved space in a female only dorm and one night there was a guy sleeping in the room. Another time my friends and I arrived back to the room late and there was a random person sleeping in my friend's bed. The luggage room that they let you store your luggage in before you can check is is dark, damp, and smells of mildew. The bathrooms are so cramped that it's hard to change in there. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
First hostel experience and I can say that I'm glad I chose abbey court. The location is perfect, the beds are comfortable, the people are friendly, the free breakfast is very convenient. I was sad to go. I just wish each bed had its own outlet but other than that it was perfect. Wifi works great. Tips for those who've never stayed in a hostel: bring a lock! You can fit a 20" and 28" in the baskets that are under your bunk bed. It saves you from having to visit the free luggage room every time you need new clothes. There is another luggage room that is locked and secured by them for 3€. They rent clean towels for 3€ and you can keep it during the entire stay. The cafeteria has outlets so you can charge while you have breakfast.
Great hostel. Clean, organised and reasonably priced. Central location.
Breakfast included and the breakfast buffet one of the best I had in Ireland. Even fresh fruit.
Staff super friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Loved the hammock room.
On weekends a little loud at night, especially in the bigger dorms, due to pub crawlers and party folk.
A very warm welcome from Silvia, at the reception desk. She escorted us to the apartment that is 3 minutes walk from the hostel. Small bedroom, essential toilet, spacious living room with kitchen. Very clean and no "double faucets" in the sinks! Breakfast, included, to be consumed inside the hostel. Basic but good. The hostel/apartments are in the city centre, most of the attractions are at a walk distance. Good value for the price. Excellent staff.
Excellent, central Dublin, location, very close to O'Connell Street, opposite Temple Bar, on the river Liffy. Hostel is clean, friendly staff, well appointed. Breakfast provided is more than adequate. Secure place to leave luggage (at small extra cost). Prices depend on how much privacy you require. Generally, very good value. Recommended.
Great place for a great price. I accidentally slept in by 30 mins so was late checking out, the house cleaning staff were really rude about it and not even giving me privacy to change. The girl at the front desk on the other was super lovely, and understanding. The bag storage is a huge plus paid €2 total for my suitcase and 3 smaller bags. Will definitely visit again (hugely in part to understanding desk staff).
Great location and very friendly staff. We had a room. Quite nice bed, small bathroom. But the breakfast was poor. Basically just roasted bread with cheese and ham. But excellent location and well worth the money.
Very central location, near to major attractions. I stayed in a 12 bed dorm. The power plugs were abundant but people staying in the top bunk will have difficulty getting to them. The service was impeccable, reception is open 24/7. Free breakfast is also included. Overall really good value for your money.
Located in the heart of Dublin, this accomodation is perfectly placed for visiting the city, really close to everything. I stayed in a 14 beds dormitory; the room was quite ugly, but the bed nevertheless being very narrow was comfortable. General "so so" cleanliness. Basic buffet breakfast, with bread, jams, milk and cereals, some fruit, coffee. Friendly staff. I'd book again there.
