The warmest and most generous welcome ever.
It is more a guest-houses, kind of a boutique hotel (5 rooms and a family fully equipped beautiful cottage) in a Javanese traditional style, with full comfort and an attention to details, that make the hosts feel really well treated: tea, coffee maker is generously refilled and water is not meanly limited to one complimentary bottle, but there is a tank of mineral water that is refilled on demand, for free! It is a rare, hence precious thing in Indonesia.
The rooms have their own terrace, leading to the large and pleasant pool. And the view from there, is open and breathless: green rice fields, lush bushes, palm trees and bougainvilleas.
It is quite in a remote place, 40 min drive from Borobudur, but so much nicer and authentic!
The owner is French and loves good food: the menu is simple, but has a mix of solid traditional Staple French dishes (and an excellent foie gras!), pizzas, and well prepared Indonesian main dishes. His wife is a charming Indonesian lady, who just loves to see people happy in her house.
The hotel offers many excursions at an uneatable price. Their cars are top notch new, spacious and clean, and the staff is the nicest, most efficient and reliable one may dream of.
As it is a family run place, everyone there is eager to make your stay easy, enjoyable, and ready to adapt to anything you may fancy. You are a real person, there. Not a room number!
Plus, the prices are more than reasonable.

Villa Sumbing est un très bel hotel construit par son propriétaire! Hotel de charme avec des chambres donnant sur la piscine et sur la vallée avec le volcan à l'horizon.
La vue est magnifique (rizière dans la vallée avec le volcan en arrière plan.
Les chambres sont belles et spacieuses.
Le service est excellent, Christophe et sa femme vous offriront un excellent accueil. De plus, si vous ne supportez plus le nasi goreng, Christophe est un très bon cuisiner et vous préparera un excellent petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et diner.
En conclusion, je dirais que c'est un lieu très agréable si vous allez visiter le Borobudur et que vous voulez poser quelques jours et découvrir cette région.
PS: Dans cet hotel de superbe ballade hors des sentiers touristiques pourront vous être proposé.
