Never feeling bad if you choose to stay at this hotel! 5 stars for 5 star hotel in Makassar. Very recommended from service, room, foods and also swiming pool. Damn cool!

Classy hotel with luxury design. We should be able to enjoy views of the beach losari from here. However stone buildings very disturbing views from the balcony. The breakfast menu is pretty good. Resepsipnis less friendly

Very nice hotel, worth 5 starswith excellent facilities, clean n quite big room.

Gave 4 stars just because following reason:

Booked 2 rooms for family vacation. Checked in at 14.00, but only one room ready, and another one prepared. But until 15.45, the room wasn't ready. After contacted Front Officer twice,, finally got my room at 15.50.

Real 5 star hotel. Room is not quite big but quite space. Very clean and neat. Breakfast has quite many options. Infinity pool is beautiful but the view from the pool will be covered by other buildings from Ciputra in the next few years 😢

Great experience! The hotel room was very clean and comfort bed. They have a good food, cafe, and infinite swimming fool, nice! The hotel connected to Mall Phinisi Point (one of big mall in Makassar). So enjoying to stay here. What a best hospitality. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have the chance to stay in lot of beautiful hotel with my job but the staff of the Rinra give me the best service I never had, they are friendly and professionnel and have lot of intention to there guest who is for me the most important.
The room is really Nice and original with his "open " bathroom who can be closed. there is a beautiful view.
The pool is perfect with great view and his sofa bed in the water.
The food is great with the chef always around.
There is only one thing who I don't really like but it's because of the different culture it's the selection of breakfast juice.
I really like this hotel and I will extend my holidays there

The rooms are spacious and confortable, but the insonorisation is lacking. You can easily hear the neighbors. It is also extremely noisy when there is a wedding reception or a rock show just outside the hotel. They install very loud sound systems and usually the music and noise goes on until 23:00. Even at the top level, it feels like the music band is inside your room. Not appreciated when you have babies or just want to relax.

Book a room with Double Premier Room with Balcony but the hotel only provide a Deluxe room. I dont know what happened but they said it was under construction. They gimme a cashback for prices differences!! Oh yeah You should take along your swimsuit if you wanna swim :)

I had amazing experience with their pool. The pool is big and well maintained. When I stayed they had zumba before sunset. Such pool, sunset, and zumba music is just awesome. It will be perfect if I can have some drink on the sun bed in the middle of the pool. Too bad they didn't allow guest to do that. I understand their reason, just hope the management can solve the issue better.
Food was a bit disappointing. The Rinra can be a lot better in the taste and quality of the food. And also they didn't load mini bar in the room 823. Not a big deal, just a reminder to do some improvement.
Hope for a better Rinra when I get back.

I Came here because of the pool, but i can't swim because it required a swim pants. I don't bring any swimsuit here. This was so disappointing.
The Next Problem is with the management, I booked 2 night for extra bed with cash, but when i checked out costumer service said that I only booked for one night and paid with card.
The Last, When I checked in, I've been asked for Deposit Money for Mini Bar, but After check The Room, The Bar was empty.
also hotel should check for surrounding environment, so disgusting and stinky.

By The way, The Service and Breakfast was nice.

This place has a wonderful scenery and there's no doubt that this place has the best swimming pool in Makassar. If your main purpose is to enjoy the swimming pool, I'd recommend you to visit this lovely place on Weekdays since The Sunset Infinity Swimming Pool will be much more crowded on Weekends.

Great place with great pool. So viral that lots of people want to come here. When I stayed here, so crowded that looked like Hasanuddin Airport in the morning. Good experience to stay or take picture here, but not that good enough to find the calm and quietness to relax.

My room has no carpet. Unfortunate for 5 star hotel. Breakfast is great, free ice cream, sushi, etc. Lounge in lobby really needs professional interior designer touch. Chair / sofa are just arranged in line. When it's full, it looks like airport.

Night view is fabulous. Outdoor lounge and bar is fantastic (only if not too crowded of people and swimmer).

The wifi is really fast and it has different network for each room so you won't experience any slow network. It covers most of the hotel area.
The bedroom is good and the bathroom isn't so bad either.

Placed in the city. Has a small "mall" next to it. My kids love the swimming pool and the oxtail soup is delicious. Fast free wifi. Friendly and helpful staff, it was a good experience.

I will absolutely stay again if all the hotel facilities are ready, such as parking at the basement, SPA, Gym and entertainment spots. My room was fully equipped, excellent breakfast, amazing infinity pool and the afternoon coffee was just perfect !

Consider this as my first time staying at The Rinra Makassar. I'm traveling with my big family, around 35 people and all of us staying at The Rinra Hotel Makassar. I don't think that this hotel could be call as a FIVE STAR HOTEL. Can you imagine a FIVE STAR HOTEL HAD A LOST CONNECTION IN ELECTRICITY FOR HALF AN HOUR?? Just doesn't make sense at all. Also their staffs, ALL OF THEIR STAFFS are not applicable in handling a FIVE STAR HOTEL. The FACILITIES are less than what we had imagine. IF YOU WANT TO BORROW AN IRON, YOU NEED TO PAY FOR IDR 25.000, IF YOU WANT TO BORROW A BLANKET YOU NEED TO PAY FOR IDR 150,000 AND IF YOU REALLY NEED TO BORROW A BOWL, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IDR 25,000. Can we call that a facility while we as a guest had to pay for everything? ITS JUST DOESNT MAKES SENSE. Trust me, if someone read my review, please THINK TWICE if you want to stay at The Rinra Hotel Makassar.

Oh another thing, some people say the good one from this hotel is the view of their swimming pool, that is true but you can only take photo with your phone, mirrorless, pocket and dslr camera ARE NOT ALLOWED.

There were hammer and drilling sound from 7:00am till 11:00pm inside the hotel. There is a construction site next to the hotel but the sound comes from inside the hotel. Even i changed my room to the other end of block and different level, still there was the sound. Has a nice infinitive pool but the scene is not good also the area smells like sewer.
