A very small and simple garden park in the middle of a huge turnabout. It is quite peaceful as youngsters will hang around the area during the weekends. You may find interesting small elevated huts built specially for the pigeons who lived there and sometime see some odd people bringing pet snakes to take a break in the afternoon sun there.

Nice park in a center of the town. Especially in Jakarta. This park contain 2 fountain. But the bad things is theres no place when rain comes. But really cozy for accidental picnic. So much trashcan so you have no reason for littering

A cool place to relax. It has some tall trees, that's why it's not so hot. It's clean enough. And it's less crowded. Many activities done by people surrounding such as playing violin; practicing karate, boxing, and Taici; and feeding pigeons. I chose to fold my origami here near the grass. Grass is prohibited to step on. :)

Cool place, so fresh. Good place to exercise in the morning. Full grown tree surrounding the area make the park more comfortable. People usually gather here on sunday morning either to exercise or just a quick getaway from everyday routine involving traffic jam which is stressful.
Community also frequently make a gathering here because of the easy access location, and widely open area. You can bring your own meal, but please keep the place clean. There's thrash bin around the area.

This is a nice cooling park with matured trees.
There is a track around this park which is good for jogging.
Ample clean seats are located at the middle aspect of the park.
There are small monuments and fountains to give a conducive environment to read.
A few discussion groups are seen when I am here.
Unfortunately there is no carpark nearby.

Nice park to doing some sporr or just hanging out with friends and family. Since I came in Sunday, there are many activity there, such as yoga, cycling, shiatsu thing, and other sport you can do outdoor. The park cover by green trees, so not to sunny here. Fresh air. So comfortable, like to visit it again.

This is a comfy park for have picnic and do exercises like jogging and walking. Although the park is quite small, but it's enough for refreshing mind because of green environment. There are several facilities such as toilet, parking area (local citizen), jogging track, seats, gazebo. You also can do selfie 😎

In the heart of the city, it is always nice to visit and relax. Taman is so well maintained. There is no trash anywhere to be found. This pkace is definitely a jewel to be cherished. Young people gather to just hang out or meet up. Very very nice

My favorite place in town since it was revamped. Great for light jog though more crowded at the weekend.
On Sunday at 7, there's a yoga community session, on the other side there's taichi community.
Also on Sunday, the famous Suropati Chamber Orchestra kids practice & sometimes perform.
Big trees, well kept garden with no food vendor inside (though some persist at the sides on Sundays) and it's free.
What's not to like? The fact that it's crowded on Sundays.

Another old little park in Jakarta. A nice place to do things with family or friends. You might even be surprised by a little group of musicians play classical music there. However you can't bring you car there. Parking is prohibited especially during the day.

overall Suropati Park is nice, beautiful, shade, complete and comfortable for family entertainment and jogging.
The drawback jogging track is relatively narrow and there are still some visitors bringing dogs, whereas clearly written visitors are prohibited to bring the dogs and unfortunately there are dogs who throw dirt on the track jogging and the owner did not bring a shovel to get rid of the dirt .
To increase the convenience of park visitors the need for a security officer to wander around and to watch park visitors

I think it is one of the best park in Jakarta. It is calm and relaxable, since it has a lot of trees, but still clean (no thrash, beggar, ilegal street seller). The magic and beautifullness of this park will achieve its peak if u visiting on the evening (around 4pm) or morning (around 7am)

Easily the point of reference when you say "park" in Central Jakarta. Expect some music performances in the weekend, with so many communities gather around the corners. You can also have snacks and drinks as well - look at street vendors with placards.

Nice park in the neighbourhood if Menteng Area. Has old trees. People loves to do activities there, especially in the morning, like jogging, play music (violin), doing yoga, breathing the fresh air from the trees.

Old historic park. Huge trees. Fountains, doves flying about. Clean, with food vendors catering to your orders. Community, providing donation-based activities like yoga and classical music performance and lessons. Located in the historic area of Jakarta surrounded by tree-lined streets.. a sight for sore eyes.

One of the best park in the heart of Jakarta. Taman Surapati is just enough to fulfill the need of doing jogging, walking or just sitting on the bench while seeing some doves or even feeding them. Place for some people doing yoga on weekend or a group of kids practising violin.

Taman Suropati is a great public space esp. when you are looking for a place to hang out with various communities. Currently on the weekend you can find yoga community, Fa Lun Dafa community, sugar glider community, and craft & music community (known as Kota Seni). The comfort shades of the trees enable you to enjoy your time there without worry about the sunray.

Many people spend their Sunday morning here doing exercises, jogging, yoga, and even violin class. We can't park around this place since there are some officers back and forth to maintain the situation. But, I saw some people were parking their cars across the this area about 20-50m even though they were guided to park their vehicles nearby sunda kelapa mosque. Another thing is, there are only 2 paid toilet here, so be patient while queueing.

The last time I visited the park regularly, parking around the park was still permitted. Now, you can't do it anymore, which is great. There's also a free wifi and the connection is not too shabby for a park. Tamsur, its moniker, is very well maintained. Pigeons flying around the park makes you feel like you are not in Jakarta. On Sunday afternoons, there is a chamber orchestra practicing here and on Tuesday evenings, a circuit training with a trainer takes place. Everyone can join. This park is getting more lively and I'm surely loving it!

Love the surroundings. Big trees, fountain, plaza, pigeons. I use TamSur often as community meet up point. Currently, the local authorities are making sure that the park is clean from reckless parking and street vendors. Actually, you can still find the street vendors around Masjid Sunda Kelapa.
