  Friendly and helpful staff. Great for our family (kids 5&7) in a shared room. Buffet breakfast set us up for the day, and food portions were generous. Right on the beach with a 2m pool. Well geared up for diving but not snorkeling. Suggest you hire a scooter and explore the villages east.

  Honestly not the best place, ok cheap but very poor breakfast, noisy since close to the road, no swimming pool towels. Staff was nice and good swimming pool, just in front of the ocean

  Very friendly staff, great restaurant, awesome dive instructors and great view of the sea from the restaurant. Loved my stay here. If you're here to learn to dive, ask for Cederic to train you. He's great.

  The Surya Rainbow Villas was a really nice place to stay. The staff is amazing and really helpful and attentive. The breakfast made to order was a nice inclusion. The restaurant is actually pretty good compared to the other Warungs in the area. Hanny helped make our stay wonderful and was really friendly. The bathrooms could use some attention however. Everything else was really nice.

  We stayed here for 6 nights in a familyroom. We were right on the beach and it was nice watching the fisherman going about their business. It's on the edge of Amed proper, not quite in the middle of the action, but hey, Amed stretches for 8 kilometres or so. Potentially it's a nice place, but there are some flaws. The famlyroom has a platform about 3 metres high with steep stairs. Defenitely not suited for children under 10 years old. The main bed has mosquitonetting, the upstairs bed does'nt. The aircon is OK, but during the night it's too cold downstairs, and too hot up. The separate kitchen is a nice addition.
  
  The girls that work at the place are realy friendly and helpfull, but don't speak english and are not up to the task. As long as the everlaughing and goodhumoured manager Mario is around, things are OK, if not, it's hit and miss. Cleaning is not their forte, the room was realy dusty. Breakfast is included, but the bread is old and the pancakes never completely cooked.
  
  The place is eight months old, so I gve them the benefit of the doubt. If owner Made puts some more time in the place, If Mario is around a bit more than it might grow into something good.

  Très belle parenthèse pour notre séjour sportif à Bali. Notre envie de faire du snorkeling s'est transformée en bapteme de plongé encadré par de très bons instructeurs. Un lieu idéal avec la piscine pour démarrer à la sortie de la chambre et un spot de plongée mondialement reconnu à quelques kilomètres. Les villas sont confortables et les repas se prennent face à la mer bercés par le bruit des petites vagues. Parfait.
