this railway station name was "Stasiun Ketapang" but now its name is "Stasiun Banyuwangi Baru". This is the nearest rail station to the Ketapang Harbour. You are able to go to the Ketapang Harbour by just walking.

This train station is super clean!
The main building and waiting hall is not too big. There are some foodstall outside the station and overstay motorbike parking facilities

I could not believed we're on Banyuwangi central station at first. It's like we were in the middle of rice fields under coconut trees. I saw two mountain peaks a far. The surrounding is so green. It's also not far from Banyuwangi main port. Connecting east Jawa and Bali island. THe station building is spacious and clean.

Nice and clean. 15mins away by walking to Ketapang Harbour. Outside the train station, you can find some Indomart and Alfamart. The train station is closed after the last train, if you come to the station early morning, you should wait until 4 a.m. to wait for the gate. There are public toilets and also mosque outside the train station.

If you want to book a ticket one day before you travel, don't forget to bring your passport (or at least the passport number). First you go to the customer service and then you will need to pay at the opposite counter window. You better bring some time because the staff isn't working really fast (at least not today). Nevertheless, always nice! Train without changing takes 13h to Yogja and costs 94k per person in economy class.

The facility was good. There r toilet, musholla, charging place. It took only 5 minute walk to the Ketapang Harbor. And at the outside of this place there are many selection of food.

Stasiun paling ujung timur pulau Jawa. Terletak di kota Banyuwangi kawasan Pelabuhan Penyebrangan ke Bali. Salah satu stasiun yang bukan buatan belanda. Terdapat jalur Segitiga Pembalik untuk memutar arah Kereta atau Lokomotif.
Dari sini anda bisa melanjutkan perjalanan ke Bali dengan Bus Kereta api, atau berjalan kaki menuju pelabuhan penyebrangan
