- I cannot recommend this sort enough. 5 stars is insufficient to describe the quality of this place.
- The staff are so friendly, welcoming and go above and beyond to make your stay absolute luxury. From the moment you arrive they put you at ease and take care of your every need.
- The food is incredible. The portion sizes are perfect and the flavours are immense. Breakfast lunch and dinner are something to relish every day.
- The rooms are luxurious and the cleaning staff are incredibly conscientious. They leave lots of nice little surprises after cleaning during your stay.
- The pool and facilities around it are all that you could want and more. The staff are amazing - never letting your ice cold glass of water run low and they are always busy cleaning, picking up leaves and ensuring everything is in pristine order.
- This place is worth visiting Bali for on its own, especially for honeymooners.response / report this review -

Spa Village Resort is a good place to relax with family. You should avail the all inclusive package for maximum benefit. The food is healthy and good and so is the daily complimentary massage. We can watch the sunrise from the resort. The only concern is the resort is far from the city and the trip to the prominent places take a long time, no cabs are available nearby and hence we need to avail the hotel transport, which are quite expensive. The staff are very courteous, friendly and always willing to assist. The ambience is very calm and peaceful. Overall the stay here will be a good experience and if your intentions are to relax, this is the ideal place to stay at Tembok.

Our stay at the Spa Village has been from every point of view incredibly fulfilling in terms of peace, rest, beauty, delicious food, surprises.
We have been pampered by very kind and helpful staff, luxurious nature, fresh and high cuisine food, spa treatments full of care and details.
Every day was full of harmony and little surprises which delighted us deeply. The concept with focus on harmony, peace and beauty on which this resort has been created can be experienced in every corner, in every smile.
We would recommend it to all the people who look for quietness and unspoiled nature. We would go back again and again to regenerate ourselves psychologically and physically.
Thanks to the Spa Village to make of our stay with them a joyful time, a paradise experience.

My favourite holiday place. Despite the long and gruelling journey, I keep returning, this year will be my third visit. The ambience, decor, staff and service, the food, massages and yoga classes, pretty much everything is superb. True barefoot ie relaxed luxury, which is so hard to find. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I went here during Christmas 2005, yes almost 12 years ago and it's a place I will never forget for the rest of my entire life! The best resort I've ever stayed in Bali. At the time I went it used to be under a different name called Jepun Bali Resort & different management/owner from Germany if I remember. The beachfront villa I stayed at, which there were only 2, costed only $146 per night (I still have the receipt lol) at that time, stayed 2 nights, which now you can not even get 1 night out of it, big difference between now and then I loved the breakfast that was served at the bale out looking the trees and ocean and pool, even when it rained the place looked magical! The food at the restaurant was amazing and the spa itself too and the staff were so friendly they surprised me each time :) Would love to stay here again if only with the old prices, but think that would never happen again :(

We're staying here for the 12th time in 5 years. Can't say enough about staying on a remote, black-sand beach at a Spa Resort rated #1 in Asia. Tembok is literally our favorite home away from home. We've spend the last 5 years hosting Oracle Retreat at this resort for complete mind, body and soul balancing including the teaching of renown psychic, shaman, clairvoyant Diana Manilova. I only wish everyone on the planet could experience the bliss of a visit to Sham-Bali. Thank you Tembok and Spa Village?
