  Get the mixed meat one. You'll get chicken, beef, and the best part: internal organs. Yumm! For you non locals, tell the waiter to separate the tauco - that's the thick brownish fermented bean sauce. The broth tastes good without it. But if you want to follow the step of locals, as you eat, add the tauco little by little. It's an acquired taste, so add it at your own risk!

  The best clean traditional soto tauco Tegal. Basically soup with fermented soy bean sauce (tauco). Tasty, sweeat and salty with a little bit spicy taste from chilli paste. They have cleaner place than other similar competitor in Tegal area.
