  Went here for lunch after walking along the river, great viewing spot to watch the world go by. Lovely food, very fresh cooked, and very friendly staff.

  Super location with fantastic view on the river and jungle! Spotted some Orang Utans from our balcony! We’ve stayed in the budget room - simple but authentic. Stairs up to the room are a little bit steep, could be a problem for older people, but for us it was all fine. Own bathroom is downstairs underneath the room.
  We’ve stayed in Sam‘s Bungalows for more than a week during the Christmas holidays and really enjoyed the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was super nice - had some nice conversations and the food was always very good! Could recommend the vegetarian curry! :) All the best to you! Had a great time in

  We did not stay here only came for lunch once. They have a lovely view over the river and the jungle and it's a nice place to sit. I had pasta which was nice but the portion was a little bit small for the price. Other than that a nice restaurant.

  Nice little restaurant overlooking the river and rain forest. The meals we tried: omelettes, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Chicken Satay, pineapple curry were really excellent.
  Incidentally, a big bottle of Biteng beer is cheaper here too.

  Really really super friendly staff! Also super cool room with good view from lovely balcony. Spotted few orangutans from there! Think location is best one in here and would and will definitely visit again.
  Oh and about restaurant, fresh and really good food! We ate here of course every day. Big portions! Very tasteful juices and with view it's perfect 😍

  Nice place to stay in bukit lawang. Great rooms with a downstairs bathroom and an adventure shower!:)
  The staff is very friendly and helpfull and they talk to you about your journey etc!
