Great place and great food. Love this place, and will always return here when there's a chance. The food are Javanese style cooking, and really tasted good. Served in an old Java surrounding, kind gives you a nostalgic feeling. Must try in Malang

The whole atmosphere was great and it was beautifully decorated. A group of locals were there singing karaoke and having a blast. The food was traditional. Indonesian food seem to be deep fried a lot. Caters for vegetarian if you have locals to translate for you and ask for specific dishes. It was an overall above experience only because it wasn't maintained very well. There was spiderweb literally everywhere, their pictures and historical information on the wall was skew, broken/ cracked glass. Makes a person wonder

The food is so great. The place is clean and have facilities like mushola, toilets, entertaining area, and even souvenir shop. It almost like eating in the museum because of their vintage-old-time-Malang ambience. The price is more expensive than most of the restaurant but i think it's reasonable for their quality and service

the restaurant really feels like a museum which made me wow-ing. however, some minuses are 1. no AC, can be quite hot at midnoon, 2. the snacks I tried are not special..

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great, real Indonesian restaurant. Staff is very friendly, nice live music and good prices. If you have a dutch background it's especially nice to go here as one of the staffmembers is interested in helping people find relatives or their history.

Well, I think it's time to quote Anton Ego - the culinary critic in Disney's Ratatouille movie (2007) ; Last night, I experienced something new: an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist "can" come from "anywhere". It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Inggil, who is in my opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in Malang. I will be returning soon, hungry for more.

The rawon and sate menu are good. The restaurant have very vitage theme combine with traditional theme. It has a traditional musical show during night. the place quite large place if you want to have meals up for 15 people. Price affordable enough and several collections and spot are good for your photo collections.

Very recommended place. Excellent food. Not expensive. Many old objects and photos that have historical value. Better visit on Friday, guests will be entertained by live java music sung directly by several "sindens".

Wowwww I didn't realize how popular this place is. I guess I should have; there were two tour busses there when I went for dinner! Despite being packed, we didn't wait long to be seated, and the food was quick. Really incredible decorations, from old cameras to old typewriters and more--just a ton of cool stuff to look at. We got the table with open walls near the entrance, which was nice, although the WiFi didn't reach there. And we saw someone walk into the pond, so watch out for that! I didn't find anything I wanted in the gift shop, but it had good selection. And the food was good, so you should check it out!

Great ambience, especially if you love old buildings or vintage stuffs. You can enjoy many foods here while enjoying the place. They have live performance inside, sometimes. The price are higher than another place around.

Average, the concept is good but the entire building (from my point of view) gives creepy feeling, if the place were a food i would say it was really greasy.
I ordered the sweet & sour squid and thumbs down for it. The price is affordable.
Good for groups.

They served Indonesian food with traditional Java way. Also you can see their old cooking utensils from 50 years ago as a decoration. Place usually crowded and it's obvious why they're so popular, good food and beverage. Interesting place.

This restaurant has an ancient Javanese style. Unique, but a little bit creepy for me. The entrance is like an abandoned old house. Then we will enter the alley with many old stuff decorated the wall. The main dining room is large but dark, and have a strange smell. But the good is, they have quite nice food. I ordered crispy tofu, and it's so good! The grilled chicken and sambal was also nice, although the taste was too sweet for me. I had no complain with the food. The portion and the price is also good.

I love this place. If you are a museum person or love antique things you'll like this place. I came here for a early dinner while waiting my train schedule. The location of this restaurant is only around 200m from Malang kota baru station. This restaurant is literally mini museum. You can find old telephone, cassette, camera, typewriter, money. I tried their Nasi goreng jawa (Javanese fried rice) and sweet Ice tea. Taste good, price is reasonable, because when you pay the food price, you're not only get the food but the atmosphere this restaurant offer. If I got to Malang, I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Tasty Javanese food with reasonable price, serve was quickly. Spacious room but slightly crowded especially during weekend. Less air circulations, no air conditioner, only big fans but it's not enough.. There was a lot of old radios, clocks, painting displayed also too crowded.. You can always hear gamelan music..

Having the same owner as the Museum beside the restaurant. it gives a unique environment. Surrounded by antiques, memorabilia, and more. This place gives certain excitement to those with interest.

They have traditional music playing on dinner time on weekdays and weekend boosting its old times environment.

Unfortunately it seems that they don't have enough manpower to serves the customer, and they are quite slow on top of that.

The Food are quite standard, so don't expect too much.
But they do have a reasonable price to compensate.

Food was served less warm than it supposed to be. The flavor is really oldies javanese taste.
Sweet and sweet and sweet.
Physically, this restaurant is not so clean and lack of air circulation.
