Gunung Paradis has given us a fantastic stay, and the North of Bali has been a pleasant surprise! The area proved very suitable for a multitude of activities: strolls and walks at the Munduk waterfalls, and a hardly known beautiful waterfall at Wanagiri, we saw rice paddies and authentic villages, and visited the north shore beaches with its laid back atmosphere. Stayed with my family in the garden suite of the main villa. It’s a richly and tastefully decorated classic villa, with a huge balcony overlooking the lush gardens, and the mountainous surroundings including rice paddies. We got served big breakfasts with fruits, yoghurt, coffee, eggs, toast, smoothie, while we sat in the garden to enjoy peaceful mornings. The dinners were copious and tasteful too, we really enjoyed the Indonesian dishes. Our children loved the pool - of course - and the huge bird cage with tropical birds. Thanks to the hosts for a more than wonderful time! It was too short!

Gunung Paradis is een perfecte locatie om zowel Lovina als de meren op Bali te bezoeken. Wij hebben een prachtige trekking gedaan naar het meer Tamblingan met hond Jaga en 's-avonds lieten wij ons verwennen met de kookkunsten bij de villa. De marlin (vis) filet is een aanrader!

Our villa was very beautiful and was set in beautiful grounds. The staff were very friendly and there were many options for adventure trips if you wished to take them.
