Overall it is a good deal for staying a night or two. They provide your basic need of sleep efficiently.
We need to buy for toothbrush. The towel and toilet is clean. They have a very unique toilet with plastic booth, but it didn't suit me. I'd rather have grounded with real door and real walls. But it was very clean. They only provide you with that tiny soap bar, a sachet of shampoo, yes sachet, toilet tissue, 2 towels, and 2 mineral water.

I truly love the Pop! Hotel Kemang, it's excellent value for money place. Sure, the budget traveler could use a hostel or go in a group with an Airbnb, but I personally prefer my own privacy and a few basic creature comforts.

The staff here are nothing short of excellent, always attentive and helpful. Sure, they might not speak the Queen's English, but they are patient with my awful Indonesian and are extremely skilled at the tourist version of charades when all other forms of communication fail.

The room itself is simple and has everything you could need. A nice clean toilet, complete with obligatory Indonesian bidet (I warn you westerners right now, pull that switch on the side of the seat with care, you may feel a sharp cold shock in your never regions if you aren't mentally prepared). The shower is nice and powerful with excellent temperature control. The TV has a good selection of international channels, but what sad so and so goes to another country to watch TV, not me! *switches off Discovery Channel*

The location, for those unfamiliar with Kemang, is a great place with plenty of nightlife and eateries. It is literally a stone's throw from Kemang village (a humongous mall complex with even more eateries and bars inside). The location might be a let down for some, as it is next door to the rather loud Eastern Promises pub (enter that place at your peril), but swings and roundabouts I suppose. The place is also now served by the TransJakarta so public transport is a possibility.

The breakfast here is also pretty damn good, it has to be said.

Next time you're in Indonesia, make this place your home for your stay!

It's in a good location but just because the hotel does the "go-green stuff" doesn't mean it should have dirty blanket and pillows in the room. Please be more hygienic for the next time

for a budget hotel that cost about 400, this hotel need maintenance, I only stay overnight, get a room on the 6th floor, the towels are crumpled, no mini bar (there are only 2 small mineral waters), no tissue, no toothbrush (small soap, and 1 bath gel / shampoo), bed sheets have a lot of spots, got problem with the flush, there is trash in the bathroom.
I checked in via traveloka, and it took so long waited at the front office (looks like he is not trained well), and when i check out, front office employees ask the employees on the 6th floor about the room I live in a loud voice (not polite in my opinion). and there is no phone in room btw.
I hope this hotel can immediately maintenance, because in fact this hotel is very strategic. easy access anywhere.

Perfect location and economic rates. Instead of other POP I've tried in Indonesia, this one is pretty basic, you'll not find the typical POP vibe and services. Anyway staff is always helpful and it's worth the visit when staying in Jakarta for a couple of days.

The customer service was not well coordinated to my booking ( i booked with pegi2 ). There was no telephone on the room. The rest service is good (reasonable with the price)

It was a bit disappointing for a budget hotel (imho). There is no tootbrush and toothpaste included. The bed sheet was torn in some sides, and looked like dirty. The air conditioner was noisy. And you can hear very clearly people on the hall talking.

Average room size for a budget hotel. To be considered, the lavatory shape is just like a capsule. Dont expect much about having a fancy shower. Enough for a short stay which you need only a space for rest and nap.

For the price, I have nothing to complain about. Easy check in, clean room, comfy bed (I believe it's a king and larger than most budget hotels), shower with a strong water pressure, good enough breakfast and most importantly super friendly staffs. It was strategically located in the area; close to shops, restaurants and pharmacies.

A very nice hotel. Cheap. The breakfast was fine for that range of price. The room was big and the design was futuristic and simple. The room just a little not soundproof. You can hear people talking outside your room.
