Need a beer? This is the place to go. Happy hour (till 8pm) makes a large beer (one specific one that night) very affordable. Loud music DJ style starts at around 9pm.

The best place to hangout for an evening in Negombo. Affordable drinks, good snack food and a buzzing crowd makes it worthy for a visit. It is not your regular expensive pubs like the ones available on both sides of the road, rather it is place where you unwind yourself. Remember to go early as the place is popular and not spacious.

Cool place near Malioboro streets, if you really love hangout or have a free time in outdoor this place must be perfect for you. Sometimes it have Live music . The place is cozy and the interior is quite good too. The services open for bilingual languages english and indonesia. Well this might be my recommend for you to chill out :)

This could be a really nice bar but.

1. The place is filthy
2. The food is horrible
3. The staff are useless

We went there for an afternoon beer and something to eat. We got fish and chips and advocado on toast. Both were poor.

Alarm bells went off when we ordered two large beers. The disinterested waiter plonked them on to table. We asked for glasses. He brought two very dirty glasses. One was so bad (thick dirt inside it), we asked him to replace it. He brought a less dirty one but still pretty awful.

By the time we left, there were 5 male waiters playing on their phones, all hidden from the paying customers.

It is no surprise that this place is filthy if the staff are basically doing nothing all day. The toilets were actually disgrace. Maybe 3 those 5 staff could have used one hour, hot water and bleach to make such a big difference to the bathrooms.

Obviously, very poorly managed.

Oxen Free is nice place for travelers who are not seeking to expiriance the way of local living and eating. It feels more like a europian place than indonesian. Stuff is very nice.
I didn't like the cream soup cause it was cream only.

Nice chill place to hang out. Good live music. Good choice of drinks (alcoholic and non) and food. They actually spend time to freshly prepare their food and not reheat ready to eat stuff. Also has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor specially is very cosy. Staff is helpful too. Definitely recommend this place.

Stylish modern Bar with western atmosphere and moderate prices. We had some fried side dishes who where pretty good! If you're sick of local food, might be a good idea to come here for a drink or two :) they have happy hour from until 8pm where big bottles are cheaper!

Food was completely bland. There was live music but they were sold out of 4 of the 5 beers and 2 of the 4 spirits. It's just a place that's listed in some guidebooks and still visited by visiting expats. Many better options within a few blocks.

Service was friendly but a bit slow. We asked for extra ketchup but they were weeping the floor instead. They forgot about it I think. food was nice. I really liked the baked eggs and mashed potatoes. the schnitzely we got was okay but a bit hard to chew. Drinks were fresh and good. the place itself looked nice. maybe could use a bit more light. there was a DJ playing music.

Just nice place to hang out.. Many tourist here, and sometimes if gets too crowd, the service little bit slowly. But over all was good
