Been here with my son's. The place showing the animal specimens from Indonesia. My children's having a good time visiting this place. Note: If you want to visit the museum, you have to enter Kebun Raya Bogor for the entrance.

It's located inside Bogor Botanical Park and free (included in Bogor Botanica Park ticket). There are various sculptures and preserved animals here. Adults and children can learn a lot about the animals here. But unfortunately the place is rather dark and not maintained. There is also a room with no lights that can not be visited. The building is also quite old. If it renovated and added some windows or lights, it would have been better. Afterall, worth a quick visit when you visit Bogor Botanical Park.

This museum is inside of botanical garden. You don't have to pay to going here becuse the ticket include with botanical garden ticket. You can learn about animal, the rare one or the usual one. You can go around at museum of zoology first and you can enjoy the view of botanical garden after that. Enjoy!

I really loved this place because this place give you real dimension of the animal's fossils. When you learn some fossil stuff in elementary, you will not know the real size. This place also give you a lot information about any kind of animals that are separated in any region of Indonesia. This is really awesome

Good place to learn about animals. Always amazes me every time I come here. They have broad varieties of animal. The most interesting fossil here is the blue whale. Comfortable place, even tho it's quite old. The ticket price is really cheap in compare with knowledge you surely get. (Museum of zoology entrance is in bogor botanical garden).

The museum is decent. It offers quite a variety of wildlife dioramas and some skeletons of mammals and reptiles. The place is clean enough and the atmosphere is cozy enough for an enjoyable visit. It is well lit and not too dark. There's a public restroom and some seating to take a quick rest. But, it's not really good to visit here twice, thrice, or more because it doesn't exactly offers something new. One may expect their experience to be more or less the same as their first visit. Nevertheless, it is a good place to visit.

This is tipical museum in Indonesia : need more attractive. The content is good, well maintained but several wall were torn and bad looking. They actually got good point of interest: giant whale skeleton! But hard to get a good photo with it.

A small museum packed with interesting exhibits: A blue whale skeleton and numerous preserved animal specimens including rare ones. Thumbs up for the high educational value but the whole presentation is gloomy, dated and there is no interactive media. Could use some major facelift.

one of the oldest museum in Bogor. Many collections but I think need improvement in maintenance them. Some of the collections are in bad shape. Located inside the Bogor Botanical Garden, this museum is a nice place to visit with whole family.

In this museum of Zoology we can see and learn the variations of animals from around Indonesia. Starting with variations of avian kingdom to the mammalian kingdom to the amphibian kingdom to the reptile kingdom and many others. There is one great snake presented there with a frog half eaten in the snake's mouth. We also can see the remains of the great Blue Whale that once died in one of Javanese beach and then transported to this museum.

Not to mention you need to spare 2k IDR for going the toilets. This place is 25 years behind and sadly, outdated. But the whale skeleton are still awesome. Still catch the awe from me. So I think It's something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Its a big place. But i cant find an exit direction here. I gotta ask some visitors to know where it is. N i found some people that acting like they didnt have money to go back to their home n they ask us to give em some money. But it was a trick. They got some money from my bf but when we search the exit door, they still there n ask other people to give em some money too. What a bad thing that u can find when u in a holiday. Much lier peoples here n the food in this place was so expensive even for an ice cream.
