If you love history, I really suggest you to visit this place when you went to solo, you will regret if you miss it. The area is huge and very clean. It has huge garden outside it. The museum contain all information you can get about the Sultanate of Ngayogyakarta and all of its culture, from gamelan, architecture, furniture, traditional dances, music, etc. It also have cultures from pre-historic times, such as stone and axes. The museum have much variety of horse carriage, that was used by the sultan on the area for centuries. The ticket, is very-very cheap for a great place like this. The disadvantage of this place is the road to go here. The road is small and ussually a lot of tourists came to this place, so traffic jam might happen all the time.
