  Designed by Indonesian Maestro Architect, F. Silaban (Istiqlal Mosque architect).
  Silaban (a Bogor-based architect) designed a new building for the historical Herbarium Bogoriense (anno 1860s).

  Museum dengan banyak koleksi diorama tanaman-tanaman di indonesia. Ada juga alat-alatnya untuk memanen atau hal lainnya. Tempat yang bagus untuk belajar tentang tanaman Indonesia yang punya banyak manfaat.

  Di Museum ini ada diorama yang menggambarkan jenis2 tumbuhan dan berbagai barang yang bisa dihasilkan dari tumbuhan tsb. Kemudian memperlihatkan suku-suku di Indonesia yang memanfaatkan tumbuhan untuk kehidupan mereka. Banyak juga artefak2 dan spesimen tanaman yang diawetkan

  Museum yang diresmikan sejak tahun 1982 oleh Menristek BJ Habibie pada masa itu memiliki koleksi sekitar 1700 benda dengan penomorannya masing-masing dan dipamerkan dalam ruang kaca. Anda akan memperoleh banyak pengetahuan tentang aneka pemanfaatan tumbuhan oleh berbagai suku bangsa yang ada Indonesia.
