  I love all about history, also history one of the place in Jakarta. That is Monas. The first time, I went up to the top of Monas. Unforgetable memory for me with someone I love. Before you enter to go up, you have to pay for ticket. The ticket determines your place that you have to visit. For instance if you just pay 8000, you have to visit just till dioramas area not more and so on. But, I also got bad experience with one of the guard there. I already paid to go top but, seemed they was making difficult to my ticket hence I should to wait till the inconvenience solve. Finally, I could go to the top and saw the metropolitan city. Wanna go there again someday. 😍

  Monumen Nasional atau yang populer disingkat dengan Monas atau Tugu Monas adalah monumen peringatan setinggi 132 meter (433 kaki) yang didirikan untuk mengenang perlawanan dan perjuangan rakyat Indonesia untuk merebut kemerdekaan dari pemerintahan kolonial Hindia Belanda. Pembangunan monumen ini dimulai pada tanggal 17 Agustus 1961 di bawah perintah presiden Sukarno, dan dibuka untuk umum pada tanggal 12 Juli 1975. Tugu ini dimahkotai lidah api yang dilapisi lembaran emas yang melambangkan semangat perjuangan yang menyala-nyala. Monumen Nasional terletak tepat di tengah Lapangan Medan Merdeka, Jakarta Pusat. Monumen dan museum ini dibuka setiap hari mulai pukul 08.00 - 15.00 WIB. Pada hari Senin pekan terakhir setiap bulannya ditutup untuk umum.

  Komprehensif, koleksi-koleksi banyak tidak ditemukan di tempat lain. Tersedia juga pemandu museum yang akan menjelaskan banyak hal tentang Indonesia. Juga ada pemandu dalam bahasa inggris.
  Minus: sedikit terlalu ramai di musim-musim kunjungan anak-anak sekolah.
