Always looking for this place every time I go back to Jakarta. Reachable destination in city, easy access using KRL or busway. Last time I visit this old town, the number of PKL started to decrease, the fews left sell their goods and services along the way to center of Old City. You can visit this place anytime but the best place should be evening around sunset hour. The weather started to be colder and you can sit comfortably in the side of the road enjoying activities around you and seeing the sky turns to be red. What a day. You can also find lots of coffee shop in that are with affordable price.

big beautiful historical place! museum is good and has enough explanation. there are museum fatahillah and museum wayang, don't forget to check the open and closed time. kerak telor and es selendang mayang are worth to try. this location is good for taking photos too

Kota Tua is now much better than long time ago. Clean and satisfying. Never thought to have a relaxing time before in such a big city like Jakarta. I'd recommend to all my friends that haven't been here to visit this place. Many stories in every old buildings that might interest you.

Feel the old Jakarta at this place. You can visit nearby cool places such as museums. Bring your daypack and walk around this area, you will find old bridge, traditional coffee shop, or even pool table next to the river.
