We had the best experience with Ali when he took us to a 3 days trip to the waterfalls in northern Lombok, snorkeling at the quiet eastern Gili’s and beautifull Tetebatu. He arranged great private guides at the locations to show us around. Along the route Ali took us to a local market where he showed us the diversity of food and fruits that were sold. He took us to the oldest Mosk at Lombok and a local kampung where no other tourists come. Ali is a great host, the best ever. He knows his way and the life at Lombok and he can tell you lost of stories and culturele backrounds. We loved every minute of the tour. So when you go to Lombok contact Ali and make one or several tours with him is an absolute must!

From the prompt and thoughtful pre-trip planning via WhatsApp and email, Ali is easily contactable and provides great ideas and suggestions. Our kids (3 and 6yrs) loved his comfy car and warmed up to him quickly. Ali arranged a glass bottomed boat to the Gilis and he patiently watched our kids and entertained them with feeding the fish whilst we snorkelled with full faced masks that he provided.

Ali was always patient and accommodating of our last minute requests and changes. Especially so, since we had visited in a low season month and during Ramadan. We are so thankful for his flexibility and reliability and we would heartily recommend him to anyone planning a trip to the amazing island of Lombok. :) we can’t wait to go back and explore more of this wonderful place !!

I took a tour with Ali at Lombok Private Tours and he was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and knew all of the hidden things that we would have missed. We liked them so much that we then arranged for a second day of touring. Prices can't be beat, either. Would definitely seek these guys out if I'm ever lucky enough to be in Lombok again.
