Di klinik kopi ini, kita ibarat "pasien". Mas Pepeng akan menanyakan beberapa pertanyaan basic semisal udah biasa minum kopi belum, punya maag atau tidak, punya jodoh atau tidak (hehehehe gak ding!) lalu akan disarankan jenis kopi yang sesuai, lengkap dengan cerita dsri kopi tersebut. Kamu juga bebas tanya-tanya ke beliau.

Sebelum datang, make sure tanyain buka apa enggak ya. Dan harap sabar ngantre sekitar 15-30 menit karena pelanggan banyak dan ngobrol mereka bisa lama banget.

Mas Pepeng, a barista who tells you stories about coffee. He travels a lot to educate coffee farmers and bring back home the stories to be shared to his customers. So there won't be any end of story in coffee. Besides its cozy ambience, it has a unique coffee shop concept. The most important thing is that you are encouraged to talk to each other because they do not provide any gadget related facilities such as socket or wifi access. And the most of most important thing is that you are NOT ALLOWED TO SMOKE around the area, because coffee has the ability to neutralize odors around it including the bad smell of smoke, and it could change the aroma and taste of the coffee. You don't want to break this rule. Anywaytheir coffee is manual brewed and cheap.

the coffee is good, but why 3 stars is just because they served per group, event just two people, so it make the line sooooo looooong they can make it faster if they want.
we want enjoyed coffee while chat each other, not chat while wait for the coffee that take almost a hour to served.

For a quite cheap price you could get various type of authentic coffee. For you who do not know how coffee is made, brewed, etc you could learn, because the owner/barista will tell it to you anyway.
The coffee beans are unique and I have never taste anything like it before.

A hidden gem but well worth the find! Slow doe and take a minute to enjoy the lush little oasis and you won't be disappointed! Great coffee, fund educational experience, and relaxed atmosphere! Just missing some large pillows for a nap spot :)

This place have their own unique to serve the customers, so just don’t go in and order before you queuing or reserve first ^^

Coffee tastes perfect. Not a place to drink and talk. Only a place to drink coffee. Waiting list is too long and if you come to have a talk or a date, this isnt the place for it. But coffee tastes good and you can chat out with the owner.

If you want to taste a real coffee, with no milk or sugar added. If you want to order, you have to wait because the owner (Mas Pepeng) will serve the group one by one. He will make a coffee based by the conversation with each people who ordered. The coffee bean itself are gathered from all around coffee farmer in many places in indonesia, so the coffee bean will changed depend on the owner's travelling destination. The price itself are very very affordable, only 25k per glass, and 10k only on the side dish. Such a nice experience and worth the wait.

Best place for real coffee addict. Selling real coffee without additional flavors (no sugar, no milk). We have to order first and have a chit chat about the story of each beans it provides with the barista himself. The ambience is good for chit chatting with friends.

It might be good coffee there, and personal experience with the barista, but we didnt get the chance to taste it nonetheless. The queue is unbearable, and i am not sure half of them understand coffee anyway. A lot might come only due to the heaps. If you have all the time in this world, go visit.

If you a new coffee drinker, this is a good place to know coffee more. Mas Pepeng will help us to choose the coffee we want. Well, he only provides a brewing technique, pour over.
And no sugar! Bring your own.
The strawberry cheesecake is very delicious!! Really love it.

A unique coffee shop. Each client take a number and wait to be called. The owner serves everyone with smile. He'll ask you how you like your coffee and he'll suggest which coffee bean will be good for your drink. Only serve black coffee without addition of milk or other flavour.

Altough I'm not a coffee person, I always brought my friends here. The barista were very nice. They answered our endless questions about coffee. They only served Arabica and only open for 4 hours. Love the place and the vibe too.

Take the queue number, no coffee/espresso machine, no milk, just manual brew with filter. For serious coffee lover, no sugar. The barista and also the owner (Mas Pepeng) loves to talk everything about coffee. Really nice place to sip ur coffee. Klinik kopi also has cold home made dessert from fridge such as Klappertaart, choco tart if you need something sweet to accompany your coffee. Tasted delicious.

If you're a coffee addict, this is the place to go. It only serves manual brew and they will teach you about coffee and ask you what kind of coffee you like. When you arrive they give you a number and you need to wait just like in a clinic. Hence the name kopi klinik.

PS : they only serve local beans.

The coffee here is very good though not the best in town. The selling point is on the talkative coffeemaker, but it is also the boiling point for the customers. Coffeemaker asks many things to each group of customers, which makes a friendly connection, on the other hand it makes the queue terribly long. The first-and-last time I came, I spent 2 hours sitting on the floor to get a cup of coffee.

First you get a number and wait for your turn to meet the extremely friendly barista. They explain how they get their beans from all over indonesia. They partner with farmers and show them how to best process their crop.

After selecting your beans, they grind them up and you can smell the aroma. They slow drip the ground beans into your cup as they explain what they do and how their coffee is special.

Dont come here for wifi or a sugary mixed coffee drink. Come here for an authentic indonesian coffee experience. Loved it!

20 years of drinking coffee with sugar and milk and this place was by far the best coffee I have ever had and it was straight black. The atmosphere is cool and Pepeng is a really nice guy who enjoys what he does and is very knowledgeable about the coffee. Well worth the little time you have to wait.

One of the best coffee experienced ive ever had in Indonesia, the host was very straight forward about people coming there for the knowledge of coffee. He gained most of his beans by hisown and his team, the stories his tell was mind-blowing. Changed my perspective about arabica beans and light roasted tasting.

If you want to change your point of view about how coffee tastes, you should come to this place. They have light roasted coffee beans from several coffee plantations in Indonesia. They know the coffee farmer in person. Just tell the brewer-roaster-owner of Klinik Kopi what kind coffee you usually drink, and he will suggest you something different. You will understand how coffee can taste so delicious because he will explain to you everything about coffee. They also sell coffee beans and some manual brew gears.

I said, these coffees aren't even bitter even without a sugar.
That what makes it into a top notch café I have ever visited. With a cheap price you could find, you could drink such a true coffee fresh from the garden.
I would not guarantee you'd find a free WiFi in this café just because it looks festive. Instead, be social! You hooman!

I have been visited Klinik Kopi for almost two years from it opened for the first time. The owner of this coffee shop; usually called Pepeng make his coffee shop different with others.

If you imagine that you will get free wifi to scroll down your social media, a modern atmosphere, an expensive espresso brewer, or just add some sugar to your coffee, you must be disappointed. Because Mr. Pepeng make the store to let the customer past the time with their friends; not their social media. The thing you must know is Klinik Kopi not let the customer to add sugar to their cup. Because pepeng says that a truly coffee is a cup without sugar and "life is to short to drink bad coffee".

Given the original of a coffee, the price is pretty cheap.

I think you should make it a point if you are a big fan of coffee and I highly recommended to stopping by Klinik Kopi if you have a chance.

Like the owner says, "Life is too short to drink bad coffee". So, Klinik Kopi is a proper place to drink good coffee (in this case, a healthy coffee). There are no such 'fancy coffee' like you see in 'fancy café'. Just an original, healthy, fresh-brewed coffee just the way I like it.

If there are something to be improved, they need to add more light. Because it's just too dark when evening comes.

My friend and I made the 30 minute drive by motorbike from the tourist district of Yogyakarta just to try out Klinik Kopi. It was well worth it. Pepe, the owner and manager, gave us a tour of the shop and explained how he roasts and prepares his coffee. For each bean he pulled shots of espresso from, he explained it's community of origin, many of which he has worked in teaching farmers how to grow and process high quality coffee. As we tried many different espressos and pour overs, I sampled 4 shots of espresso and a pour over and my friend tried three shots of espresso and a pour over, Pepe showed us documentary films of coffee farms, processing facilities and cafes around the world. Pepe was extremely friendly and a great guy from whom to learn the ins and outs of high quality coffee.

I ended up purchasing 8 bags of coffee to bring home to America. All of my family loves the coffee, especially the honey "natural" process beans. My fiancé thought that the oksibil dark beans were the best she had ever had prepared on a stovetop espresso maker.

Klinik Kopi had an open air seating area underneath a bamboo roof where customers sat and chat as they enjoyed their delicious espresso.

I highly recommend stopping by Klinik Kopi if you have a chance.
