This immigration office provides good service and is efficient in my opinion. I have used their services three previous times over the last year to process Visa on Arrival extensions. Things went smoothly and quickly each time. There really is no need to hire an agent to complete your immigration needs. A VOA extension takes three days regardless. You pay an agent only to avoid the drop-off and pick up of your documents. The staff here has always provided me with accurate information to complete my applications, and have provided me any and all forms needed to do so. Like any government office, you will be waiting to be served. However, I have never waited more than an hour. I have worn a tank top, shorts, and sandals and received service, so if there is a dress code it is not enforced.

My experience was pretty good here. Probably because i had an agent to extend my visa and just needed my photos taken. Was out after 40 minutes. Besides that i felt overdressed. It was recommended to wear long pants and shoes and about 80% of the visitors came in shorts and flip flops.

This is not the correct address on the Map! The real location is off Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai. Travel up Jl Raya Campus Unud, turn right on Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai. Less than half a mile you will see and IndoMart on the left, shortly after a side street to the Immigration office! There is a also a small blue sign up towards the top middle of the road and an arrow that points to it.

Not a bad as you think it's going to be! The staff are now quite helpful but it's never going to be a quick process coming here. Limited parking spaces available for cars across the road from the office.

Recommend u to go very early.
The organisation process is long and u waste a lot of time.
If u are in kerobokan area u must go here.

Receptionists are typically chosen on the basis of a warm & friendly disposition, right? Nope, not this one. She's pretty easy to spot, the one with her vulgar (clearly in her estimation: impressive) cleavage on display. On my first visit, I wrote off her stinky, aggressive attitude due to the possibility of having a 'bad day'. It was on my 2nd visit that her repulsive behavior just confirmed my initial view.

Now, for those that attempt to visit here without an Indonesian guide, and/or agent, be fully prepared to spend a good 3 - 4 hours of your life here per visit.

Tip: Try to avoid the vinegar queen at reception.

This immigration office is very off and on. If the system is down, nothing is happening. If the system is working, things can get completed quite quickly. It's a good idea to bring a book or something to keep you occupied while you wait. Due to the systems unreliability, you shouldn't expect things to get done quickly. You might get lucky, you might not

Google maps has some false locations for this office, super annoying!! Correct place is:
    -8.784638, 115.194484
at time of writing (November 2016). They do visa extensions; although having to go in 3 times seems ridiculous!! And took over a week. Very stupid system, make it easier

An efficient, clean and easy to find immigration office. Remember to wear full length pants and shoes for men and closed shoes for women. No minis, beach wear or short pants. A small stall across the road will rent you their own shoes for Rp20 000 if you do forget. Get a number as soon as you get in and take a seat. Usually takes about 1/2 hour. Visa extensions or other requirements dealt with quite promptly - Well run set up. Using a visa agent works well.
