Stefan and his staff at Janji Laut Dive Resort took great care of us on two snorkeling trips that we scheduled.
Stefan is an excellent communicator and kept us posted in regards to the status of our trips. As a former sail boat owner I can appreciate that the trips to Bunaken can be weather and condition dependent. Stefan always kept us posted.
Stefan clearly explains all details in regards to our day trip to Bunaken. One day unfortunately there was much trash at Bunaken. This of course is not the fault of Janji Laut Dive Resort. Stefan explained the patterns of rain that cause this unfortunate occurence, he also expressed that he has written a letter to the Bunaken National Park administration in regards to them collecting fees but neglecting to keep Bunaken clean. We appreciate Stefans desire and efforts to see a clean Bunaken.
Our second snorkeling trip to Bunaken was even better then the first, and there was no garbage in the waters. Only Beautiful fish, coral, and many many turtles!
The grounds of Janji Laut are beautifully maintained.

Did not stay here but asked for a private snorkeling trip for 2 and received a call confirming it the evening before, the owner claimed that it will be just for the 2 of us and though it typically starts at 9am, it is definitely ok for us to arrive late. On the day itself we traveled there and arrived around 920 only to find out that the boat has left without us, and overhearing the boss telling his staff that we should have come at 9. even if they needed to leave by 9 (instead of anytime after like what he advised us) the least they could do was to inform us beforehand, but we did not receive any call or text. The staff said that the boss would come up to see us but never did, further wasting our very limited holiday time that he already ruined. We asked them to call us back to account for their actions and rearrange an alternative but they never even bothered. Very unprofessional and simply rude.

Amazing place in between a tropical garden. Quiet, awesome superb food, relaxing pool, famous dive spots just besides, 45min to Bunaken Islands by boat. Directed by very charming people.

It was a very pleasant stay at the resort. Superb tropical garden made me feel relaxed and forget about all the everyday problems of city life. The food is so good, indonesian recipes but you can tell the owner is french with many pastries and french touch to the cuisine. We enjoyed the diving and snorkeling in many spots around the resort and its not far from Bunaken also. Super vacation!
