It was novotel, changed to travel lodge New painting, not sure the interior as I waa there for Friday praying inly. Looking at the promo banner, quite cheap for 1 night stay for 2, inclusive breakfast, dinner, 1 hour karaoke plus foot massage for 1 pax. Only IDR550K

Beautiful property. Ambience and decor is awesome. Lot of woodwork and the mechanical clock on level 3 was awesome. Staff is nice, breakfast not bad, can be better.
Located in Nagoya so all the happening places are nearby. Pacfic disco is just opposite..

Location : 4/5 Rooms: 1/5 Service: 1/5 B'fast: 2/5 Pool: 0/5 Sauna: 0/5 Hot tub/Jacuzzi: 0/5 1. ) Booked 2 rooms and requested for side by side, (i didnt get) 2. ) Requested for a babycot to be placed in of of the room, (didn't get after they promised us they will have it done before we get back from our shopping, we checked in at 2pm and came back to the hotel at 8pm) 3. ) Aircon was down till 3pm (under maintanence, which i was ok with. 4. ) There was no aircon in one of the rooms i booked, ( i realised after i came back at night) 5. ) Stated pool close at 10pm. ( wanted to swim when one of the staff told us that the pool was close, it was 840pm) 6. ) Direction of the pool was messy. (We spend 20mins searching for it) 7.) Pool ( the next day we wanted to swim and thr water was icy cold! You literally cant even dip you feet in, stated was a HEATED INDOOR POOL. 8. ) Hot tub/ jacuzzi ( under maintanence) whats new? 9.) Suana (under maintanence again) 10.) Breakfast was alright but plates and cutleries was dirty. Trust me ! It was horrible! I was disappointed. The worst hotel in batam. I will never go back again. Staffs was not friendly and helpful at all. This is the worst hotel i ever stayed in.

What I remember the most from this Hotel is that it's across the Pacific Palace. I remember going out at night and seeing Pacific Palace glowing, lol. Since I only came here for work, so I don't remember much from this hotel. What I Remember is that the decoration is awesome, with water flowing on the wall. About the food and the room are just regular.

Location is easy to find, near the seafood kelongs. Service was a bit disappointing, we called more than 10 times to try to let hotel know that we are arriving late. It was either ringing till the line dropped, or they hung up on you just as they pick up. Rooms were relatively clean, there were stains on the walls and the runner on the bed. The bathroom door could not be closed properly, but usable. Love the idea of the AV sockets on the wall feature, so u could connect the TV to your own devices. Had a shock when housekeeping opened our door without knowing at 9am.

Aircond isn't cold enough. Staff is friendly n polite. Though assets is dated but is well maintained except for water piping leakage at corridor ceiling in most part of the building. Overall it stayed within it hospitality rating

Room aircon is not cold enough. There is insects in the room. Hotel staff is friendly, price is affordable. Construction is happening in the hotel but hotel staff didn't notify us ended it is very noisy in the morning and it affect our sleep.

Room was clean, toilet was unusually small. Food at breakfast however was pretty mediocre. But the location is excellent if coming from Harbour Bay. It's also very close to Nagoya district where there's a lot of nightlife and massage parlours.

This place look so good from outside .but OMG. Inside so hot. .the room also not so good. But I love the Japanese restaurant . And the breakfast also do bad. I would like to pay more to eat in Japanese restaurant.

Outdated hotel yes, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, nice and comfortable. Free wifi with smooth connection. Great value for money, would recommend!

Novotel batam is located within a 5-minute walking distance from Harbourbay ferry terminal. The situation of the hotel was quite and warm. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big, clean and spacious. I had a wonderful time here!!!

Was stayed with family. This hotel is in a good position, it's just a 5 minute walk from/to Harbour Bay ferry terminal. They also provide shuttle drop off at nearby malls. Staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We felt very welcomed thanks to Novotel Batam.

Hotel stuff is very friendly.
Room is very nice, but the corridor seems very gloomy.
Restaurant food is nice, however the service is very very very slow. Have to wait about 30-45mins for our food to be served.
Their advise to walk from hotel to habourbay Bay, which is very near, is not a good idea for tourist, as the road seems dangerous, and there is no proper pavement to walk on.
Not much timing for free bus to nagoya Hill.
Massage timing only in the morning.
Taxi counter staff most of them can't understand English well enough.

The variety at Pasar Malam BBQ is very little. The taste is far worse than most buffet dinner I have eaten. Not a recommended choice for tourists going there.

Would be my 1st and last time there.

Not bad (considering the city). Most of the rooms fall under two distinct sizes, but you never know which one you will get. All rooms are good though. Crew is very friendly. The breakfast is average. Good affordable option if you are staying in town.
