Located in Labuan Bajo. A great hotel with nice view (you can watch sunset), by the beach, and of course swimming pool. Dinner was amazing.

Overpriced. Ants and flies infested. Great staff and clean rooms. Nice pool. Not properly chlorinated. Made the whole family sick and ear infections.

    Horrible Value.

This hotel looks very pretty in the pictures, but it was a total disappointment. I'd go someplace else.

At roughly $100 per night per double room, I expected this hotel to be luxurious by Indonesian standards. Sadly, this was not the case. I've spent half this amount on much much nice hotels. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to hotels, and I think I have reasonable expectations: clean+quiet rooms, hot water for a shower, and no mosquitoes (I don't mind other bugs! I just don't want the kind that bite !).

    Why this hotel is bad:
    1) Dirty rooms. There were obvious nasty-looking stains on the white blankets and the walls. There were dead flies on the floor.
    2) Mosquitos in the rooms. My parents had one room, and my fiancee and I had a separate room. My fiancee and I had to switch rooms (see: 3), so I saw a total of 3 rooms. All 3 had *many* mosquitos. Not 1-2 mosquitos, *many*. I killed at least 8 in my second room before I lost track of how many I was killing my Dad theorizes the mosquitoes might be living under the shower drains, so we covered the drains I don't know if that worked, though..
    3) Sewage smell. Somewhere near the property there is sewage. Subsequently, some rooms smell like sewage. Luckily, not all rooms smell like sewage, so ask to be switched if yours does.

The grounds are very pretty, and the pool and private beach is nice. However, some parts of the grounds smell like sewage, and there is quite a bit of trash around the beach.

The one thing that was nearly half-decent was the breakfast. Buffet style, this breakfast had a decent number of Western + Indonesian breakfast foods. The quality/taste of the food was average, but at the very least, you can eat a lot of it

The hotel isn't too far from town and an easy 25 min walk or 50k Rs for a taxi. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. Our room had a clear view of the sea with plenty of space.

Out of town so is quite and peaceful, but close enough to town so easy to get to. Nice garden and swimming pool. On the beach. Friendly staff. Can arrange day trip by fast boat to Komodo from the reception.

Great hotel, this hotel is definitely more upscale for the area. The pool right next to the ocean is great and the views are great.

Great place to stay. Pool and private beach. Very quiet and rooms are great. Staff is amazing. Rented bike and moto and they give great recs. Because of staff they get 5, but they only have wifi in the lobby and but not in rooms.

We stayed here years ago as our starting point for a trip to Komodo Island. The place was definitely a four star hotel. The grounds were great, as was the infinity pool. We ate all of our meals here and every meal was excellent. The staff was always accommodating. The sunsets are exceptional and equal to any sunset I've ever seen for myself or in pictures. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Komodo!

Hmmm, maybe I can get a job at the dive shop on premises and move here

There's a beach right behind this hotel. The view was great, especially during sunset. The service was not the best, but still good.

One of the better places to stay in Labuan Bajo. Morning walks along the shore are nice but watch out for saltwater crocs near the estuary.

Hotel accomodations and grounds were emaculate, unfortunately that was the only good thing about this place. The location is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel provides a shuttle into town for 50,000 IDR each way. We often had to wait 30+ minutes for the shuttle and even one time were stuck in town for over 2 hours waiting for the shuttle driver to pick us up. Taxi's never come to the hotel unless they are dropping someone off that was tired of waiting for the shuttle. The restaurant was open air which would have been great if it wasn't for all the flies and bugs. The food quality was less than spectacular, and better offerings are available in town. If all you want to do is just lounge around the hotel and not see any sights, this place is up your ally. If you want to see the sights or maybe take a boat trip, you can get a hotel closer to town for less than half what they charge here and that is my recommendation.
