Bangunan tua yang rapuh tidak aman buat pengunjung jika memang diperuntukkan buat tempat doa bagi semua umat beragama mengapa dikenakan tiket masuk ? Harga makanan mahal. Pemandangan biasa saja. Ruangan bawah tanahnya seram, sudah menjadi rahasia umum bagi penduduk sekitarnya.

the view is nice n peacefull. while having a complementary fried tapioca snack. its just prayer building. with chicken shape. but the view on top is amazing. people there suggest go on sunrise.

Nothing much to see except for a chicken shaped church. Need to ascend a really steep slope after paying for ticket for roughly 200m. Climb up to the roof top to see the scenery of the area - rice fields upon rice fields and forests. Entrance ticket includes a free fried tapioca snack at the cafe, where you can take a breather.

It is exactly as the name suggests: a church that looks like a chicken. The structure itself is nothing spectacular, but the view at the top (at the crown of the chicken) is really nice. It's a bit of a drive from Borobudur and not very familiar to some locals. Also getting there requires a 200m hike uphill, a little steep but manageable. Entrance at 30000 IDR.

In facts It is better to come here between 8-10 am . You do not need to queee to go upstairs or to the head of the pigeon. Green area with a restaurant on the tail. This restaurant / cafe has 2 floors with stunning view of the mountains ( Sumbing, Merbabu and Merapi ) on the right side from its entrance . But do not miss the view of Menoreh Hill on the other side while you are enjoying your delicious fried cassava . And this light snack is free as you pay for the entrance fee. gentle fresh breezes of the mountain will spoil you to stay even longer here. They provide a jeep as well to transport you from the parking lot to the top if you want . Entrance fee is about 30.000 IDR for foreigners and 15.000 for domestic.

Loved the exterior, but they should work something of the interior. The snack is tasty, but I've seen people throwing them away in the bin uneaten. If you don't like it, just don't accept it and waste some perfectly edible food.

A quirky place of worship that charges tourists RP30000 per entry with some local snacks. Other than checking put the 360 view up on the crown of the place do check out its basement prayer area. Not suitable for the aged due to the steep slope up from the carpark unless you hire a jeep.

Unique historical place. It's pigeon shaped actually. The ticket is moderate, but tou can exchange it to traditional snack on the snack bar inside of it. Prepare your feet to climb to the entrance of it.

Good view and good romantic place. the stair is steep but not far, you can use jeep tho. i got there at 10 am and its very hot on the top. better early in the morning for better view

The place is well organized. Everyone has a chance to take photos on top of the crown of the bird, even they are limited to 5 minutes only. The view is wonderful. Come early to see the wonderful sunset from the top.
Every visitor will have a plate of fried cassava. I like the sambal, though. 😁

I have to wait for about 1 hour and then enjoy the view from the top for just about 5 minutes! If you're faced with such a long queue, it's better to waste your time in other place. The view from the top was just.. good.. not that great..

Nice place. This place become famous because of this place become one spot from the film "AADC" one kind of teenage film that very famous in Indonesia. The Church build like roaster faced to Borobudur temple.

The view from the top is amazing. You can see borobudur from afar. But gotta be careful with the stairs because its way too narrow. There are two way to access this church: by walking from Punthuk Setumbu via narrow footpath so you'll show up from behind the church and by car from upfront.
It has several praying area for every different religion. 10k only for ticket.
But too bad the renovation is still going up until now. So we cant really see anything rather than the rooftop and from the front of the church
