Third time at Coral View, and it won't be our last. This time, we travelled without kids and during the rainy season. Amed in general and the hotel and particular, were very quiet, which could have boded badly for the service. We needn't have worried. Everyone was delighted to see us, and the grounds, restaurant and staff were operating at full speed regardless. The room was spacious, airy, scrupulously clean and very well appointed. Food in the on-site restaurant was locally sourced and evocative of Indonesian flavours but not tied to specific dishes. The tapas menu was a delightful addition!

Dinner and drinks were good. I requested a grilled cheese for my son and I, and they were happy to comply. My husband's meal was more traditional balinese. It was delicious also. Second time eating there, the waiter mistook my order for vegetable pizza with vegan pizza (lost in translation). Big difference! I could not eat the pizza as it had no cheese and was mostly pineapple. They had no problem fixing me something else.

While I didn’t stay at Coral View Villas, I went here every morning for breakfast, enjoyed a swim outside its grounds, and even became close friends with the amazing staff.

I stayed across the street; however, the friendly people, amazing food, and beautiful ground kept me coming everyday.

For anyone looking for their perfect cup of coffee/espresso: the staff will work with you to get EXACTLY what you need!

The villas on the beach front are the best choice, double storey, two single beds downstairs and king bed upstairs. They have fridge, yes and coffee making facilities and two sea view balconies. Lipah beach is the nicest sand beach in the Amed strip. Recommend this hotel.

Loved this place. It's so tranquil, beautiful and hidden away from the crowds. The food at the restaurant is simply amazing. Simple meals, made with fresh ingredients which are just simply delicious. This place has amazing snorkeling just off the beach, the fish diversity is fantastic. We met a local guy who took us out to the Japanese shipwreck, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area as well. It's really a hidden gem.

Great villa, pools and open bars and direct access to the beach to swim or snorkel or just simply sun bathing

Nice accommodation, good food, except for the included breakfast, which just wasn't my thing.
    Great gardens and pool. Recommended.

Old school balinese style hotel. Very friendly staff. Restaurant isn't anything to right home about. There is good snorkeling right out front on the beach.

Food is good. But i could not use my credit card. I tried to exchange 100 usd to idr. After 30 minites, they gave me the only 120000 idr.
    Then, food was expensive.

Lovely hotel grounds and good snorkelling out off the front beach. Beach can become crowded with local fishing boats when they're not out catching fish, but there are plenty of other spots to grab some sun. It was actually quite interesting to watch the fishermen do their work. Good place to relax and very reasonably priced too.

Stayed in the Family Villa right on the ocean front. Fantastic! Great location. The villas were nice and clean and the grounds are beautiful. Nice pool area with a little waterfall and rock edges. The outdoor bathroom in the family villa is beautiful and clean with a stone tub, separate showers and private toilet. Really well taken care off. The villa came with daily breakfast and the food is good and clean. With the breakfast you get coffee/tea, fresh juice, eggs (any type), fried noodle or fried rice and fruits. The restaurant is right beside the beach and offers a variety of dishes. If you are staying there, ask for the beachfront villas (#10-15) and you'll get amazing views from the front porch and the 2nd level balcony. Great place to snorkel/dive and chill. Nothing else to do around there and that's a good thing!
