Great resort. Friendly staff. Brilliant food. Loved the Uma Pool Villa. Totally recommend. Tours they offer are good as well.

Very peaceful and serene. Hotel is not too large. Had a very relaxing holiday here February 2014. Beautiful villa with sumptuous bathroom semi-open to the outdoors. Live the yoga sessions in the pavilion overlooking the river and forest. Staff friendly and accommodating. Had a lively massage here. Good selection of food at breakfast.

We were here for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay here. Service and the room were excellent, the COMO food selection was deliciously healthy. when you stay here, you have to try their spa at COMO SHAMBALA. I had tried the Indonesian massage and facial and they were excellent; it's a MUST try when you stay here.

Como Ubud has 2 hotels in Ubud and I had a chance to stay at COMO Uma Ubud. Like all other Como hotels this is an amazing property and it was an absolute delight to stay here. Their Italian restaurant is also really good and I would highly recommend a meal there. The hotel is quiet, staff and service is amazing. If you can splurge, I would recommend staying here.

We spent two nights at COMO Uma in a room with a small pool. The set up of the room and bathroom is really well done. The design is perfect, could have a better Domotic system.. the hotel is looking a small valley with a river, at the time when we where there (low seasons) it was some works in others rooms.
The services in the spa and the bar was perfect. The room service is quick and really good.
I would put 4,5 if I would have the possibility.response / report this review -

Almost a hairline-shy to be called "perfect".
A very cozy, convinient, relaxing, & elegant place.
Perfect place to relax, and scape the busy city routinity.
Staffs were all attentive and very frindly.
A great place and experience that worth to pay for.
Foods are great, and you can choose on the menu which will be prepared by the chef right away.

I was only here for diner near the pool. The staff was very friendly, yet didn't have enough knowledge of English. Food was average, would expect higher quality for an establishment like this.

This place is close to perfection in a little bit.. everything. It is beautiful. The service is absolutely outstanding, the food is delicious. It is small and quiet. If you can afford it, go for it. We loved it.

We are staying at the hotel for our honeymoon and have been treated amazing! We were welcomed with a nice juice and a full tour of the grounds + room. The staff has been great at helping out in any way we need. I would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent food, incredible service and an unbeatable ambience. Our waitress Putri was very friendly and attentive. The food was incredible - some of the best we ate Ubud. The cocktails were delicious and everything. Was very affordable (under £35 for two people, starters, main, desert and cocktail each). We intend to return before we leave Ubud.

We're currently in the middle of our stay with Como Uma. The pool suite that we were initially given had some building work from the neighbour overlooking the back garden and provided the workers unobstructed views over the pool, into the bathroom and hallway which was not ideal. We raised our concern with the lack of privacy with the management and they have moved us to a better pool villa room for tonight (only) with a promise of a lasting resolution tomorrow morning. And for the inconvenience they've offered us both a complimentary hour massage. They have been really helpful so far and even insisted we leave our stuff unpacked as it was and that they would move it for us, which they did! They do have other renovation work going on within​ the complex which goes on during the day, but we haven't been affected by this. The gym is basic with only a couple of treadmills, cross trainers and some weights, and they provide complimentary daily afternoon yoga and morning yoga every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. There is also a free morning walk that happens at 8am. There are other activities organised by the hotel that happen during the week which come at a cost (e.g river rafting, mount batur cycling etc.) The location is also good, it's a ~25 minute walk into the centre of Ubud, which is fine during the day time but not recommended at night. Como Uma provides a shuttle bus service every 2 hours into and back from the centre but this starts at 9 and ends at 5, so not very useful if you want to go out for an evening meal. We haven't used a taxi yet so can't comment on the cost to get into the centre from here. All other parts of our stay so far have been superb - breakfast, external excursions, queries and cleanliness - and we see no reason why we would have any further complaints in the coming days!

Great hotel. Service here is perfect. Bed and pillows comfort is really above average. Lovely pool. They have spa here, a little overpriced but the best massage I have ever made. They do have a shuttle from/to hotel/village. Works but time table shuttle could be better (last is at 5pm). They have some (overpriced) tour activities as well and here is where I lay my only criticism. I booked three hours biking village tour. The guide let us cycle for just 9km within less than 40 minutes. After that he took us for a car tour to see how they produce animal coffee. Then he took us to rice field and told us that we had to pay 10k Rp each. I thought it was an entrance fee. When we arrive it was an open rice field with no one charging entrance fees. So I think he was asking Rp for him. I was already paying more than one million for the tour including service. Not necessary.
So, erasing this flaw biking tour from my memory, last the perfection for COMO Uma. Great place. I just didn't stay here more nights because they were fully booked. Maybe next time.response / report this review -

Only went to the restaurant as a guest. Amazing service, can speak very good English. Cocktail maker is very knowledgeable and recommends you cocktails on your palette.

My wife and I stayed at Uma for our honeymoon in Nov 2014 and we were blown away. We decided to come back for a couple of days to relive our honeymoon memories at our favorite hotel. As we had remembered and expected, the service was just as good, the place was very well maintained and it again made us feel amazing. I would recommend everyone that goes to Bali to stay at Uma or at minimum go for breakfast and use their Spa facility. Everything about this hotel, from design and views and to service is unparalleled.

Just brilliant.
ROOM: We booked a room with a plunge pool and forest view. It did not disappoint! See pictures (cheeky chef.breakfast pic). Exotic fruit was served daily to our room (sometimes the ants got to it first!).
POOL: The communal pool was always clean and not busy.
TOURS: They have some free tours and bicycles available to hire
TRANSPORT: They have a free van running into Ubud town and back every hour or so (I think) where you can find lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, fashion and furniture shops
RESTAURANT & GYM: didn't find their main restaurant exciting but the poolside restaurant / bar do great food and the breakfast is awesome.
GYM: The gym was pretty basic with cardio machines and some dumb bells.nothing much for those wanting to lift weights.response / report this review -

The property is beautiful, the rooms are very nice.
Sadly my wife was a bit nervous with our room that had open air bathroom due to mosquitoes going after her there, and when I contacted the management, they did their very best to help.
But more importantly, they also asked for feedback, and I actually took time to type some, some were small things that were easy to improve. Of all the places I've been at, this is the one place that took that feedback to heart the most, and they really wanted to do their best to get everything right.
In this day and age where many places don't care about improving that much, I have to give them 5 stars for caring that much (not counting the property and food, which again were top notch).response / report this review -

Came here for a dinner. Food is good - for that price range I would rate it 4 out of 5. House cocktails are unusual but very good. The atmosphere is very nice - we had live music. Service is very good as is customary in local higher end places.

Stayed here on honeymoon. Excellent hotel. Peaceful with beautiful grounds. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choice. Rooms were very nice. Highly recommended
