Decent place and friendly people. Food was good (they made us vegan banana pancakes for breakfast!) No problems with bugs, just a couple ants, etc. Totally normal here in a tropical rainforest.

Good for 1 night if you're in need of a place, but not more. When we first arrived they were friendly, until we turned down their tour guide services and then they became very bitter and rude. The rooms are very muggy and infested with bugs and cochroaches. Showers did not work and when they did, it was cold and no pressure. The family is very dishonest and lied to us about the shuttle bus schedule so that we would have to take their very overpriced taxi services. (We didn't.) When we said no to their taxi they laughed and admitted that they lied.

Family is very friendly & included breakfast is delicious. If you need anything, ask. Food prices are high if you're used to local warungs, but okay for most tourists. You can refill your water bottle. I like hot water, so I had to fill my thermos in the morning for the day, but they were also accomodating about that. The view in the frontbis beautiful.

I had paid online but had forgotten as it had not come off my credit card for a few days after booking. When I arrived he asked me to pay. I said, is it not paid. He said no. I paid 170,000. After I checked and saw that I had already paid. They refused to give me back my money. If I wanted to pay 340,000 I would have gone to a 3 star hotel. Dishonest owners. Nice view of lake from over the road. No view from room as there was supposed to be. Lots of insects in room. Nice chairs and table outside room. Welcome cup of tea. Sink was blocked. Room was quiet.

Great rooms and food. Some of the staff was very rude and tried to cheat me with 50% increase of real price plus giving me a much worse room than any of the ones in Agoda

L'endroit est vraiment sympa. On est accueilli par une famille très agréable et souriante. On y mange bien. Les chambre sont assez propre. La vu n'est pas sur le lac mais sur les hauteurs des champs. Je conseil vivement.

Tempatnya yang berada di puncak gunung menjadikan tempat ini dingiiiiin sekali apalagi malam woow dingiiin, tembok kamar jika di sentuh juga nyessss dinginya, ukuran kamar lumayan lebar. Pemandangan di depan nya jg sangat indaaah sekali

This is the real Bali. Warm, kind, friendly the owners - Papa and Mama Jero - make you feel like family the moment you arrive.
The rooms are basic, with hot showers and en suite bathrooms, but the scenery is fantastic.
I booked a handful of eco-tours with Papa Jero while staying here and couldn't be more pleased. I left feeling like I had a good idea what Bali is all about, and with a love for the Balinese people and food.
