Lovely quiet place just a short walk from Double Six Beach. Astagina has a beautiful pool I wish I could have spent more time in (and at the pool bar). Staff were accommodating and attentive; a loose shower fixing was repaired while we were out even though we hadn't even mentioned it to anyone.

Great location, in the heart of legian. Good service, spacious rooms and gorgeous pool and daybeds. Our room was great except for the nails from the floorboards were sticking out - probably wood worn out over time. Dangerous and risk of foot injury. Other than that - great stay!

This was our first hotel when we arrived in Bali, and after a long flight this was like arriving in heaven.
Great room, great service, great pool, great breakfast, 10min on foot from the beach and situated everything you'll need.
One small problem, the hot water in the shower takes at least 10 min to get hot. You're wasting so much water just to take a warm enough shower.

Good Hotel with a very good staff and Great LocationJust 5 min. Walk from Double Six beachAlso its in middle of the Market so has many 24hrs stores and many sovinier stores..Indeed the hotel is not on main road, will have to walk 200m into a narrow laneAlso because of this parking is sometimes a issue

These are not much serious concerns so if u need a good hotel near the beach then a very good option

Small ants here. Keep your bags zipped shut. Some strange mold smell in elevator. Pool was nice and beds comfy. Breakfast each day even if I paid extra for it and was not free was worth it. They have a huge spread in the morning. Ask for the watermelon with mint blend for pool side relaxing.

This is my second stay at the Astafina resort and it has been as fantastic as the first time I have stayed here. The staff are lovely and friendly and the fellow guests are kind and chirpy. I would reccomend stating here to anyone who can! Fantastic place, fantastic service, fantastic people. 5 stars!

Another November came and a week long delightful holiday gone .
For second consecutive year , we have spent our Holiday at Bali and stayed in our kids favourite place , ASTAGINA .
While making the booking this time, I only looked at one place and that was Astagina .
As if , my family is in love with them .
It’s true , that , they need refurbishment in various areas .
But , still , we felt at home .
Mainly the cordial and friendly behaviour of the Staffs.
This time , we stayed in the two Bedroom Villa and we enjoyed the Villa and the whole resort .
The staffs were as good as last year .
We are returning for a re-union of my College mates in March 2018 ( 45 in total ) and planning to book at Astagina .
So , you can see the bondage .
Astagina is not the most spectacular Resort in Bali .
But , somehow , it has own our heart .
By the way , Astagina needs to organise a place for a small Gym for workout.
Looking forward to see you guys soon .

Really nice place! And good locating in the middle of Kuta where it's all appening. We had a lovely 2 bedroom villa with private pool and it was a really pleasant stay. Good relaxing and good value for the money!

Nice, good location off the street so no traffic noise. Room cleaning could do with a bit of training but generally well maintained for Bali. Pools are great, staff friendly and helpful

What was good: Excellent buffet breakfast with a large selection and an army of waiters. Reasonable prices for room service. Staff were always helpful, allowing us to check-in early and keep our bags in storage and remain on the grounds after check-out because we had a late flight. Well-kept grounds with two swimming pools. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept it and excellent quality bed linen. Fantastic shower pressure however, the shower is in the bathtub which is most inconvenient.

What was bad: Room far too small for two people, with oversized and unnecessary furniture. We are not very big people however kept bumping into sharp knobs and edges, got all bruised. Sound-proofing poor, could hear neighbours snoring next door and the loud music blaring from the poor bar. Otherwise, very pleasant stay.

Wonderful, peaceful hotel. I was worried about booking a hotel that was so central in Legian but this place is an oasis in all the hustle an bustle. Beautiful pool.

Quiet, spacious rooms. Polite and friendly staff.

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast.

An awesome experience that I had here, will surely drag me to the place over and again if I plan a trip to Bali again. I had booked a double-bed room with terrace for 3 days and there is no con I could really point out! Awesome ambience,room arrangement and service. Complimentary buffet breakfast spread was too good, with lot many options. Another thing that needs special mention is their entertainment option for guests,everyday they arrange for something near the family pool. Things like live music, culinary classes, open air movie and so on. So practically one wouldn't get bored,even if one plans to sit back at the hotel throughout the day! Rest all mentioned several times by other guests as well - Superb location,with lots of restaurants and shopping points around. 10 mins walk to the Double Six Beach. An experience worth sharing and remembering 😊

Hidden gem!!! only negative is the bathroom is very small, the bed was huge and comfy and room cleaned beautifully daily. The staff are fantastic can't do enough for you, breakfast was excellent good variety, we enjoyed a free movie evening under the stars with complimentary popcorn nice touch!! also thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea at 3pm every day. This hotel is away from all the noise but within walking distance to some lovely shops, bars and restaurants. The pool area and gardens are really beautiful and there is also a pool for the younger children with a nice grassed area for them to play. I will definitely be going back again. Thank you Astagina for making our holiday really special.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The pool and gardens are superb. So peaceful and inviting after a day at the beach. Double 6 beach is an easy walk and there are lots of restaurants and massage places nearby.

I really like their service, very personal and thoughtful. I got back one day and found umbrellas in the closet because the next few days were forecasted to be rainy. The hotel is walking distance to Seminyak beach. It is also near,biking, to the main area of seminyak where the cafes and restaurants are. I would also recommend to try out the local eatery, warung murah, which is tasty, cheap and local.

This is a nice resort just the room decor is a little out dated needs some TLC. Also the resort seems to attract the more mature crowd little more mature than I like tbh there was a lot of elderly visitors. I enjoyed the swimming pool wasn't too busy.
Nevertheless this is a nice resort just depends what you are looking for?

Beautiful and quiet hotel in the middle busy streets, with nice facilities. It can be expensive but we got a great last minute deal on Agoda.
There's a great Thai restaurant up the street.

We stayed recently for three nights and were really happy with the resort. Firstly our driver picked us up from the Airport and there were no issues at all even when our plane arrived early. Our driver was waiting and the transfer was smooth – straight to the hotel! Check in was quick and no problem despite it being after 10.00pm
We were upgraded for the first night in a villa which was a little odd changing rooms after one night but no issue at all. The staff helped us with our luggage and we settled into our new room which was also very nice. Both rooms were very clean and the beds really really comfortable. The air conditioning struggled a little to reach the ground floor in the villa but it wasn’t an issue as we were in the pool when we were not out and about. The air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms and two bedroom suite which was important (for sleeping). The WiFi works quite well in all parts of the resort.
The main pool area was great and the staff at the bar were great - Agu (I think was his name) was very friendly and we had some good chats. I’m not sure why others have had issues with the pool towels. The pool card system seemed to work well. We never had any issues and if we needed fresh towels, just swapped with the towel man at the pool. Obviously they have this system so that towels do not go missing.
In regards to the breakfast, it was great. The food was fresh and all you could ask for with a hotel buffet breakfast – the hash browns were yum!
The Spa was fantastic. The massage I had was probably the best I have ever had and my wife really enjoyed hers as well. My wife also had a 2 hour manicure/pedicure which was very very good.
The Balinese night on Wednesday was quite good and we thoroughly enjoyed the Balinese dancing. The location of the hotel is great – it’s hidden away and the driveway is actually quite safe and no problem at all. There are some good shops heading north (out the driveway turn right). Overall the staff are very friendly, polite and we loved staying here. We stayed with our 5 year old and 7 year old and they loved the resort too, especially the main pool. We have recommended the resort to friends and would happily stay here again.

Surprisingly modern, contempory rooms. The location is a hidden gem. Nice walk to the beach along Double Six Road. No hustle n bustle. Surrounded by greag restaurants. Great pool bar and breakfasts. Cant wait to return

Beautiful location and hospitality lovely .so relaxing and everything there that makes a holiday complete. definitely recommend ..spent 10 days with family and close to shops and beach One thing I will say don't get money changed at money exchanges on street they will find any way to fiddle you out of your money. ..safest and most convenient way is government appointed exchanges they have security on the door ..All air conditioned! !!! You get a receipt for the money exchange and there is no commission and most of the time is equal to exchange rate on the streets. ..so why go through the pain.recommend BMC .. .☆

Has been many time visiting this Hotel, yesterday had a booking day tour and pick up service from airport from my client where it stay in Astagina Villa in Legian, the hotel is very eassy to find with no possibility getting lose to find it , staff very friendly, its seem the reception recordnize me, couse often i take my customer to astagina, the security man is very friendly, we have lot of chat while i wait for my customer in astagina villa to get ready for our tour. Over all as the driver and tour guide in seminyak,higly i recommend this hotel if you looking for place to stay near the beach and close to city with walking distance.
