Had to wait in line for almost 40 min then pay 2000 forints for an average club with
- rather expense drinks
- bartenders who were spending more time hitting on girls than serving drinks
- bad dj

The Saturday that was really greatly spent! Good music, friendly staff (especially Matthew) and reasonably priced drinks made for a very memorable night out in Budapest.

You need to educate your bouncers on what dress code means. If sporty means Ralph Lauren polo then damn maybe I neee to back to school? So retarded, it was clearly because we were 4 men of Asian descent. I saw so many people wearing t shirts and trainers and he doesn't let us in for this. Never go here

There is a sign for the "happy hour" saying buy one beer get one free but this is a trap. This is valid only if you take a Calsberg beer, which is not on the menu. Thanks we asked before Then we waited a long time to be served. Bad service.

Useless service, waited more than 10 minutes before we even got a menu card, after we ordered 4 beers we had to wait another 20 minutes. The waiters were verry unfriendly and slow. Not even worth 1 star. Would give zero stars if it was possible. Also asked for an ashtray, never got it. We're never going back there. It's not the worst cafe/restaurant I've ever been to, its the worst thing I've ever been to. Never go here, hope it'll get bust really soon.

Great snacks, drinks and atmosphere. Good live music. Be prepared for disinterested service however - for which you have the pleasure of paying a 12% service charge.

The service was absolutely terrible, we waited for more than 20 minutes till we got our first drink, being almost the only people there!

After asking for a food menu for a good half an hour, we finally got them and the food was OK, nothing special, though a bit expensive for the city.

After the meal our empty plates remained on the table for almost a hour.

Asking waiters for drinks and them turning away and ignoring you? Come on..

Highly unrecommended!

Pretty standard club in Budapest. Also acts as a restaurant during the day, but haven't eaten here.
Slightly trendier crowd, more expensive place. They need to work on the line situation. The queue is totally demotivating, unnecessary, and intimidating. Can take 45 minutes to get in if you arrive around 12:00 midnight or 1:00am.
Other than that cool setup and rooms.

Otkert Is an amazing club in the heart of Budapest. The music is very nice with great drinks though a little more pricey than drinks in other places in the city. The only drawback is that the average age of the crowd in this place is 20 probably so it's full of young college students and youngsters. The place has a great vibe though and it is recommended to only go there around midnight as it's almost empty before that. A great place to enjoy club-like music !
