Time travelling to the 70s, kind staff, really bad restaurant.

This is a not really renovated half abandon camping. The bathrooms were clean and in general the campsites too. A little bit calm place even in the season, nice to rest here, but there is a lot of mosquitos (more than in the other places), and the beach is small and really muddy also in the water.

Try to avoid the "restaurant", it is really run-down, but have a Budapest prices. The waiters are really bad mood, not give you menu, and not bringing the food the same time. The food also made by cheap ingredients and bad quality. They aren't speaking foreign languages however the half of the camping is german.

The "internet" is a real magic here :). You can get one user password for free internet and use it only with one device. Another password costs 5000 huf. The wifi is working only in really few areas for this cost. (comparing to Budapest, you get a high speed internet for a 2 months for this price.)

Never got receipt in a small camping cafe.

We were two of us travelled by bike, stayed in a tent for 3 nights in a season.

Nice place. Near to port and center of the town. Local restaurant could be better but offers everything you need.

The best camping at that side of Balaton. It has its own beach and swimming pool. There is no need to cross the railway. Possibility to rent a bungalov, camper or pitch a tent. Clean toilets. Stuff speaks hungarian and german.
