Never again. I felt cheated. The food came quickly and tasted like it had been waiting for me since the morning and was then just warmed. It looked good, but I felt no taste and my duck leg was like chewing burnt rubber.

I would consider any other option in the city.

The service is fast. The waiters are nice and helpful. The food was tasty, but, for me as a turist, I had nothing to compare against. I still think it's good.

BE AWARE OF HAIR IN YOUR DINNER!!!

After being recommended this place we were looking forward to coming here. However it was possibly one of the worst dinning experiences I've ever had. We didn't book so when we turned up they sat us next to the kids play pen. The staff are really unfriendly and pretty useless. My dinner had a long hair in it which they changed. No apology whatsoever. The food was nice when it came but the waitress who served us was so put by us being there. We were sitting at our table for half an hour waiting for the bill. Would never come to this place again Awful!

The atmosphere is super, nice well designed. We got a table right away for 7 people even if it was near 2 pm and we did not have a reservation. The food was really good Hungarian foods. It was perfectly prepared. But one of the waiters was a bit harsh, to pushy and he was rushing around even if it wasn’t necessary. For example, when he was taking our order, he asked nearly howling “What do you want?!” 😨😰We was there with our friends from an other country and some of us was local. So we just said sorry because of his behavior. 😓But I think the VakVarjú should be really pay attention to this kind of stuffs! Because I was here before and I had a really good date here with my boyfriend I give 3star, but just because it was perfect!!!

Nice atmosphere with great foods: Interior is a quality of expensive restaurant and food was plenty enough and very tasty. The servers were nice and explained a lot of the food. Price is not that expensive for a poor traveler like me. The restaurant had a sandbag in men's restroom and I enjoy it quite a lot.

Very nice relaxed atmosphere with good polite helpful service. Had 2 starters, 1 main and a dessert. The dessert was average but the starters (particularly the eggplant) were very tasty. The beef was very well cooked, not at all chewy and with the tomato & onion stew it was in, made for a delightful meal.

Very nice restaurant with high level of hospitality and very delicious traditional Hungarian food. Centrally located and (for Western European standard) reasonable price structure. I can recommend the Gulasch soup the awesome salmon salad! Also a very convenient atmosphere. I would definitely come again!

All the dishes we ordered were good. Everything was seasoned well. Not too salty.

The goulash soup was simple but flavorful.

We also had the roasted leg of lamb. It was very tender and went well with the polenta.

The duck breast was juicy and it sits on a bed of flat rice noodles mixed with some sauerkraut.

We also had the floating island dessert. Light and not too sweet.

AMAZING!!! Could not recommend this place more highly. Fantastic menu, food and drink was amazing. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere great.

If you like cherries get the sour cherry soda. Best thing I've ever drunk. The passion fruit lemonade is also delicious and refreshing.
We also got the pigs brain and goulash for starters and the tenderloin steak bites with pasta for main. AMAZING. Everything. The taste of everything, the presentation. Everything on the plate works well together.
For the price you pay it is well worth it.

Best restaurant experience I have ever had.

Good place to try Hungarian dishes.

They also brew their own beer which we really liked.

The staff was also really nice though they automatically charge the tip on the bill which seemed strange to us.

Top marks for this place. Be sure to reserve in advance. It's always quite crowded. Food that is served is very good and tasty. The delivery speed is good, not slow but also not too fast. You don't feel hassled at any point in time
