This is my favorite restaurant in Hungary. I’ve been going there for over 20 years and I have never had an experience that wasn’t incredible. Excellent food prepared by incredible chefs. Amazing wine. And a beautiful setting. This really is a can’t-miss spot for dining in Budapest. You will NOT be sorry you came!

I am not sure how to rate this place because the strudel was the best strudel i ever had anywhere, so deserving a 6 out of 5 (yes that good), the entrees were 3 or 4 depending on the dish. Very pricey! Very empty! But i would come back anytime for the strudel!

Avoid if you can. Overpriced food that would disappoint even at half the price. Soggy fries, cold meat, soup that doesn't seem to have much taste at all. Comically incompetent waiters thrown in for good measure.

The service was very good, although the place was almost empty so I wouldn't expect anything else. Food was excellent and the price was reasonable, more expensive than other places in Budapest but according to the quality of the dishes. We ordered the Hungarian menu and everything was good.

They do not deserve 4.4 ! I have stew boar with pasta and purée. The meet far more away what I expected. Be careful about the glass of wine they served a long awaited one at least realized and changed later. One very standart meal plus a glass of wine cost me 28 € which I believe it is not worth..

The chicken paprikash here is my favorite dish I've had in Europe thus far, but the waitstaff seemed preoccupied and were inattentive to our table. Better service would've made this a 5-star experience.

Fantastic food, great service a bit pricy, but worth every dime. Sometimes they offer promotional menus, and it is the same high quality but cheaper price. Definitely come by if you can.

Really good restaurant. We tried the 3 courses lunch menu. Really well presented and tasty. Excellent service as well. Great atmosphere. The pinos noir by the glass is also really good. It's the perfect choice if you are in the szechenyi area around noon !
