Fine dining Hungarian restaurant with French touch. Elegant, professional service and fantastic Hungarian wine list with the best wines and best vintages.
Staff is well trained, but food wasn't amazing and we had to wait an hour and a half to get food
Simply just a superb dining experience and service. Would recommend to everyone. Reasonably priced for the quality.
Ohh I even dont know where can I start from.
The service impeccable the wine list impressive. I just tried the breads and all my taste buds were in heaven.
A must place in Budapest for every foodie.
Also I didnt mention its nice and cozy and doesnt get noisy or overcrowded. Please make sure you book it thou.
This is off the main road but a gem none the less. It was our last night in Budapest after being to 4 other up scale restaurants and this was our best stop without a kink in the wallet. The fois gras sampler is the thing to get if you want to taste all the variations of this delicacy. The service and decor was excellent and the main dishes were unique and well made each with its own distinct great taste. In the US this would be a 50-75$/person meal for 20-25 in Budapest
My favorite restaurant in Budapest for very good reasons First, after three visits haven't had a dish which was anything less than made to perfection. Second, an extremely friendly and professional team which understand food to wine pairings very very well. Third, their dishes were incredibly creative which guarantee entertainment for the educated palate. While moderate within its range, still objectively pricy- don't think twice.
I came here with my girlfriend and we were both blown away. The service was absolutely amazing.
For starters we had Foie Gras with Truffles , Dried Plum and Pecan Nuts and a mixed green salad with goat cheese, beetroot and popcorn. Both starters were really good although the truffle flavour was a bit overpowering.
As a main dish, we had Mangalica Pork Cheeks and Pike Perch fillet. The pork cheeks are awesome. Super tender and super tasty. The pike perch was amazing as well.
The sommelier gave us a really good wine pairing. I'm not a big wine drinker myself but I was blown away.
As a dessert we had the sponge cake which came with a little surprise. The waiter explained the dish to us beforehand, which "ruined" the surprise a little. But in the end it didn't take away from the experience, so no hard feeling.
The dishes were all prepared and done in a beautiful fashion.
It's a liitle pricey compared to other places in Budapest, but the Price-Value-Ratio is absolutely fair. Come here if you are prepared to spend some money and enjoy a great experience.
I absolutely recommend this place. If I ever come back to Budapest, I will come back.
Nice food, foie gras specialities. Great service, but rather pricey
