This hostel saved us! After sleeping on the streets of Budapest for a night after Sziget Festival, Groove Hostel welcomed us five with no question. They knew we were shattered so they didn't fuss us with payment until we left and just let us sleep. They had a laid back attitude which was something that made the owners more approachable for any questions we needed answering. The hostel itself was in a beautiful building in a prime location in the centre of Budapest, close to shops and food places. There was a kitchen to cook own foods as well. Couldn't recommend a better hostel, I look forward to coming back very soon!

Very cozy hostel, the staff are awesome and professional. A stone throw to the center, good tram connection. Beat hostel I have been in so far.

Stayed here many times in Budapest. Always nice staff who go out of their way to help you. Friendly atmosphere too and easy to meet everyone :)

Excellent place to stay if you are looking for a cool hostel with a relaxed vibe. The place is centrally located. It's clean, cheap and the staff were excellent. It's not a party hostel, which works out perfectly for people who want to just relax and have a quite time. Met some very interesting people while staying here.

Great, local staff full of good tips on what to do, where to go, what to see and where to eat. The beds are comfy, you wake up to the scent of coffee in the morning, and come home to find delicious muffins on the table in the evening :))) The Groove was by far my favourite hostel in Europe. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to socialize with fellow travellers, but still appreciates a good night's sleep ;)

Fantastic place. Really nice building. Staff are all very friendly. Nice atmosphere. It is quiet so can get sleep.
