I love Náncsi Néni's family atmosphere, like you are visiting grandma and she cooks something yummy every time. I'm not Hungarian but here's where I discover the best of traditional Hungarian food. Try their chocolate soufflé for dessert. You'll love it.

Too salty for my pallad's I am vegan,
The following week took a Hungarian couple, whom just arrived, was thier first time at this charming place, the supe this timr was not overly sakty, which is typical Hungarian as my father used to salt food before he ever tasted it LOL

Excellent and fast service, different menu, nice garden to sit in, great tasting food with generous portions. Well worth the travel, this is a favourite!

Nice location, you'll have troubles with parking though in peak hours. Sitting outside might be a bit loud - buses, kids in the restaurants playground (which is a cool feature for family with kids). Food very good, served on a cold plate though I had to be quick to finish. Mind you it was a very busy early Sunday afternoon. Great service!

A little crowded on Sundays, but the food is really good. The outdoor tables are quite pleasant, although during lunch on a sunny day it can be a little too bright, as there's no roof above outdoor tables. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I love this place! I visit friends each year and we always set a night to eat here. The duck is always cooked well and the foie gras is mouth watering. The sides wine and beer selection is unmatched I highly recommend you come here.

A historic restaurant outside Budapest. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The waiters are efficent and professional. Basically it is everything you look for in a traditional Hungarian restaurant.

Ate a really good steak here. It's an expensive but old school Hungarian place. The vibe is great. Not a huge variety of foods on the menu, but all of them are exquisite great dishes.

The portions are really big. The meals are delicious. The prices are reasonable. Reservation needed. There is no dedicated parking, so you need to find a slot on the road. Strongly suggested.

Love sitting in the garden under the big ancient trees during summer. Great traditional food, ample portions. Service from most waiters are very friendly however sometimes it is difficult to catch their attention if you have a remote table in the garden. Suggested for a romantic dinner as well as bigger family events.
