No tables to sit, no friendly service, cash only, but the cakes are the best in the city / country.

Perhaps the most well known confectionary in Budapest. Warning: dangerous on the waistline :)

Very good cakes at a reasonable price. Very crowded but don't have to wait much in the queue

CASH ONLY! (: Always target the empty cashiers, don't be silly and queue up in the longest/busiest one. They almost can serve you anything you want from the shop, at any cashier.

Great cakes and ice cream, coffee was nice too. Not much English is spoken here, so if you don't do Hungarian you just need to pick a cake and point to it :-)

Awesome icecream and cakes are same or if not better than the famous Gerbeaud but here they don't rip , steal your money , prices are fair.

You have no choice, you must pay, not cheap, but you will regret nothing! Take your cat here too! A cat is the most demanding of the creatures to please, but that is why they are cats! They enjoy good food and treats!

I had a Nostalgic cake and it was delicious. Usually there are a lot of customers here, so queing is inevitable. But I can promise that it will worth it.

My favorite confectionery, the best in the city. You can choose anything it will be super delicious. The queue is always long, be patient. They accept only cash and better to order for takeaway.

Best bakery in town! Amazing desserts and other pastries! Sometimes really crowded, but it is worth to wait. Try the "kis goudas pogácsa" (small pogača with gouda cheese) and you will know what i mean

For me it's more a "cake factory" than a patisserie. Cakes, cookies, scones etc are really tasty, however the place is not for sit in but for take away. No cards, cash only. Expect long queues.

This was the best patisserie I've been in. Shame they have no nice seating, only standing tables. Busy on Thursday around lunchtime. Taste of different pastries is awesome. Service could be more friendly.

Arguably THE best patisserie in Budapest

Myself and my relatives have been their customers for more than 10 years and I still remember the small family cake shop they used to own about 50 metres from where they are now. The new place is huge and clean if rather impersonal, but the cakes are just as great as they were when they started.

Selection is stunning, I'm sure you'll be able to find your heart's delight. Everything is fresh, not too sweet and very well balanced.

Please be aware that this cake shop is still a cash-only place and larger a "torta" should be ordered well in advance so grab some forints before you walk in!

Generally you can expect a long queue and about 15 minutes wait; prices are above the Hungarian average but still affordable, quality is superb so it will be well worth your time!
