Warning: the waiting times are long. This is not the right place, if you are hungry and want to eat fast. We waited approx. 1,5 hour for our main course, but the goulash soup was served fast and we ordered their delicious leanka, so we didn't mind the long waiting on the beautiful terrace so much. The food was definitely worth the waiting, everything was amazing. We had roasted goose leg and beef stew with dumplings and goulash and we really enjoyed our meal. The traditional interior is very nice.

Rude waiter! If you want to wait an hour to order something that is your place! Unpolite waiter! Not recommended at all!!! Try another restaurant not this!!!

We sat for half an hour and the waiter did not even serve us. In the end we asked him and he got angry with us for asking so we left. Terrible service! It seems like a nice place so a shame this happened. We went to another wine bar and was much better

For the restaurant.
The service is horrible at the beginning. No one offered me a menu when I was sitting for more than five minutes. Walked and talked to a male waiter- talked in Hungarian and probably tell me to just wait
No service until 5 minutes later a middle aged lady finally shows up. She is responsive and service is acceptable.
The sponge cake, despite the poor service, is good. Coffee is not as good. Interior decorations are amazing.response / report this review -

The food in the restaurant was fantastic, we picked Jókai bableves (soup) that was the best we have ever ate. The portions in main course were big enough and tasty. Staff way above average. Athmosphere was great with typical hungarian music in the background (csárdás).

WOW! Best decor I have ever seen. I do not think the word ambiance has ever been used in a more topical manner. Just amazing. Waiting stuff are very good and the food is delicious at reasonable prices. What a great find, highly recommended. Oh also, there was live gypsy music the whole night, I'm very impressed.
