Better than expected!Staff were extremely kind and helpful!Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.Location is great!the Metro and tram right outside by the hotel which is very convenient!!There is a shopping centre (shopmark) next to the hotel just a walking distance!Easy access to the airport!

My mom and I enjoyed a good week in Budapest lodging at this hotel. Is comfortable, spacious and staff is nice and friendly. I accidentally lost one of the bedrooms towels in the Szechenyi Thermal Baths, I didn´t got charged for that. First day I arrived late to the breakfast buffet, despite they remove all the food the Chef prepared something special for my mom and my self, what a great service! And it´s something remarkable as out in the street the average Hungarian may not be that nice, unfortunately.
Location is one of the highlights, super close to shopping mall, supermarket and most importantly to a Metro/Tram/Bus station, is about 26 min from the city center. It very conveniently close to the airport as well. Will definitely go back!response / report this review -

Value for money! Good location to reach by public transport down town and airport. Friendly staff. Rich breakfast buffet. Nice garden with terrace. Surely will come back!

I've stayed here twice now, and have been pleasantly surprised both times. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the restaurant has some great Hungarian food (even if they are overpriced - but they know they've got you since there are no other restaurants around in the area). The staff is super friendly and helpful, and while it's not in a terribly desirable location (a bit sketchy at night), it is however right near the airprort, there is a mall right next door, and you're just across the street from the metro - which after several stops will lead you into the center of Budapest.
All in all, I would recommend staying here, particularly if you need to catch a flight early the next day. Rates are very reasonable. Bring your own soap however.response / report this review -

Nice hotel room, good serving, buthave you seen the community garden behind? It is fantastic! It is so cool to see a garden like this in a hotel. I don't know any other hotels have a plot like this, it is a "must see"!

Conveniently located hotel with excellent staff. There are metro and tram connections immediately adjacent to the hotel (the centre of Budapest is about 10 mins by metro; the airport around 20 mins by taxi). There is a shopping mall just across the road. All the Ibis staff from the manager to the front desk to the cleaners are extremely helpful. This is a good alternative to the more expensive city-centre hotels.

Really basic 3* standards. No kettle, no drinking water in the room. Restaurant is quite pricey for the quality but overall is not bad. Room service is annoying and getting into your room disregarding 'do not disturb' label.

The hotel knows life and the people working here are doing a great job. The location is kind of out of town and there is mostly nothing in the neighborhood, just a transfer stop of metro, busses and trams. Clean rooms, on one side of the building even with a balcony, facing a large forestlike green area.
