This is truly a lovely hotel. Very pretty. We had a normal double room. The room was only the size it need to be and nothing more. Bed was good. Bathroom nice. And it's location is perfect.

Charming place with the best food and service and wait-staff in Budapest. The food was heavily French influenced and perfectly prepared.The service was the best we recieved in town.There is an old world / other era charm in the way the people conduct themselves here that is rare I would most definitely stay at this is hotel on a return visit

My partner and I had a great experience here!Wonderful meal, great atmosphere and perfect service. I had the chicken and risotto and she went for the cod in broth. Both were superb. I don't know how you pronounce the dessert but it's the first thing you'll see when you come me in the door. Go for it!

Very nice breakfast had here, in a quiet sidestreet (I hear there will be a fountain in front of the cafe by december, which will be a lovely addition to the area outside the cafe)

I ordered some pheasant thing to try something new. I really didn't like it but told them I'd be happy to pay for it but they still took it off my bill.
Was really pleasantly surprised by that. They really didn't need to do that, and their wait staff was super friendly and let me sit outside and read for a good long time.

Pretty good location, food was of a good standard, service of an ok standard. They did forget 2 drinks, and on a stinky hot day that is not good.
Main issue was that on a hot 36c day they went for style over function, leaving all the doors open and not allowing any air conditioning to cool down anything.
So maybe need to think about practicality in future, not just trying to present the image of a Parisian cafe.response / report this review -

We just had drinks on the terrasse, but the waiters were really nice and so patient with our big group of 10 people.
Prices are okay, bathrooms are clean and service is good.

Great food and service. Salmon with couscous excellent. Son couldn't get enough of the stuffed farci vegetables - wanted another serving. Enjoyed the piano music in the background as well. Oh, and our first taste of goulash was also great.

The best food I have had in my life. I came here twice for the workers lunch 3 course menu. Every dish was more than perfect, and the staff here are one of a kind. Thank you for making Budapest even better!

Probably the best meals of my life. Come here for the three course workers menu between 12-4, it is unbelievable here 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Great service with world class food.
