Nice location. Affordable price. Great little hostel with super friendly staff who will help with almost anything. Conveniently located for exploring both sides of the river and 5 minutes from the nearest metro station.

I had a nice stay, staff was very friendly. Could be cleaner, though it was one of the uncleanest hostels i've ever slept in..

Very friendly staff. Clean bedding provided, facilities are adequate with amount of guests in the hostel. Breakfast was a little lacking for €3 but did the job. A bit hard to find at first, would benefit from a larger sign outside.

It's cheap and in good location, so complaining about other aspects is kinda pointless, but I chose this place for the location and I was going to stay in a separate room with bathroom ensuite. Didn't care about the price that mich, and actually expected it to be 2 time more expensive but after filling the booking website showed price 2 times less for some unknown to me reason.
So, first thing I saw on arrival was staff (i guess she was hungry, as big bowl of food was staying there on the table near her) whose attitude felt kinda arrogant and unfriendly. I don't know how common it is, but i got the invoice for only the money I payed them in cash, not including 15% deposit payed when booking. These 2 unpleasant things at the start kinda made me more critical of everything else.
What can I say, it wasn't what I expected.. First, i did have my own bathroom, but the access was through shared kitchen (and use a key to open it). The room was very small and to get to the bed one needed to climb up stairs to the "gallery" under the ceiling. This part i guess was described in the website, but i didn't quite understand what it meant until seeing it. Thankfully I just had to stay there only one night. The staff guy when I was checking out early in the morning was actually nice and friendly. So thanks to him last impression was better.

Very clean apartment with all the basic needs like dishwasher, airco. The owner is really haospitalic, friendly and takes the time to explain the things you can do in Budapest. The location is super bars and city centre are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Fleas. That's all you need to know about this hostel. If you would like to know more about my experience, keep reading

Do yourself a favor and go to a better hostel, they're all around pretty cheap in Budapest.
I stayed in the 8 bed dorm room and the second night I was awoken by some really loud and rude guys (3 of them) in their underwear at 5am, who had sneaked in to sleep in the beds of a group of four girls who had actually paid for their beds. Just a few hours later they were being rowdy again and woke everyone up at 8am. How did they even get in there?? The door to the dorm was inches away from the "reception desk". If they were respectful or even tried to be sneaky, I wouldn't care to say anything, but I don't appreciate the behaviour of some random people who did not belong there bothering me, and the other 3 people who did not pay for this, at night.
Secondly, bed A2 in that same dorm has bed bugs or fleas or some other kind of blood-sucking parasite. It was really disgusting but I didn't realize this until the day I had to leave, afer sleeping there for two nights. After the first night I saw quite a few bites and just attributed them to a family of mosquitoes finding me outside and biting me everywhere, then afer the second night I woke up to so many more. I've counted more than 40 by now 20 above my chest alone. All over my lower face, neck, arms, legs You name it and there's huge hard itchy bumps there. I even included pictures.

Please avoid this place, it is toxic.

This hostel have a great location, but it's only for low budget travellers because it isn't really cosy and there is much stuff that aren't free and the room look like going back to communist area.

The price and location is mostly positive, other not that much. It's basically for spending night.

Nice location. Good priced. I don't like the fact the private rooms are in a separate building. I also dont like the fact they didn't respond to my emails.

The environment is good. And they offer a little breakfast that makes all people come together. A little bit cleaner could be great tho!
