This place gets 2 stars just for its location. The rest is just a frustration. It's actually got the potential to be a really great hostel if the staff put any effort in. Little things that cost nothing. Staff are unfriendly, bar seems to be open only when they feel like it, no credit card machine, unwillingness to give keys to each group member. Guests are required to make and then unmake their own beds. Breakfast advertised but not actually available (just take the menu off the wall then!) The decor and facilities are clean and look great, the bar looks great. This could be a 5 star review if all the things mentioned were fixed and fixing them would cost nothing!

the hostel provides you with exactly what you need for a great price, it can be noisy at times but this doesnt affect you sleeping. The staff were very nice and facilities were clean. You get free wifi, teas and coffees, free use of the kitchen and laundry. Would definitely stay here again for the great price in a central location

Excellent atmosphere, bar, kitchen and people. The only minus is shared bathrooms in private rooms but the price is very low. If I will be in Budapest next time I will stay here!

A great Hostel to spend time for a few nights (I only stayed for one night).
Beds are comfy, clean sheets, they serve breakfast at a small price in exchange. Bathroom is clean and you can have a nice shower. Staff is very friendly and helpfully.
They have internet access, their own pool, and a nice area to spend time and know travelers like you.

Other than walls being so thin, everything was awesome. Awesome guys working on a reception, awesome breakfast bar, awesome night bar and great location. I had great time there, and the private rooms are so comfortable and cozy ^^.

If you can get past the unforgiving B.O stench in your room, you'll be fine. It's a great location, the tram stop is about 3 minutes walking. And anywhere else you may want to visit is roughly a 20-25 min walk away. The staff are helpful. There's maps & free walking/pub crawl tour information available. The beds are comfy, I was expecting my mattress to be hard as a brick, thank goodness it wasn't.

Basic, but great for the value. Was a little noisy, and the beds/linen weren't overly luxurious (though I still slept fine), but I was never cold and I was always able to go to sleep, and do the things I needed to do. The staff speak good English and were friendly, helpful and always available.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, but in no way it deserves a 5-star rating. The pro's about this hostel are that it's located very central and has good pricing as compared with other hostels. It also has a bar with friendly staff where you have drinks with fellow travelers, big plus! On the other hand, it is not very well maintained or cleaned. The shared showers are often dirty and broken equipment like shower handles are not repaired. The private rooms are very small and the beds are sub-par, even for this price-class. The staff was generally very friendly, but we also encountered the exact opposite, where the receptionist seemed very irritated about the guests.
All in all, the Casa has a nice atmosphere in a central location, but the poor maintenance of the building and the sleeping comfort of the guests could be improved.response / report this review -

Nice friendly staff who are happy to help. Good secure lockers. Not much noise from outside so can get a good night's sleep. WiFi works well. Can leave your bag here and pick up later after you check out.
