We really enjoy the apartment! It was nice, clean, cozy and well located. We didn't have the chance to meet Akos, but his friend sent us a special taxi to the airport and welcome us at the apartment. I greatly recommend Akos's place.

This apartment was amazing; very clean, spacious, good location, extremely friendly/helpful owner. The aapartment is as described and better! Its like having an apt away from home, very cozy with all the amenities for comfort such as washing machine, mobile phone, free wifi and a provided laptop, cable tv, kitchen. The owner, Akos, was extremely nice, professional, and helpful to our needs. This place by far was the best place i've stayed during my 3 wks of backpacking in Europe. We were extremely fortunate to find this gem on the last minute in Budapest. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Budapest, and would absolutely recommend this place to friends/family who visit Budapest. The apartment is in a perfect location, right by the Danube River, across from Margaret Island, and within walking distance of all major sights such as Buda castle, parliament, royal palace, ect. We enjoyed a nice walk along the Danube. We love this place and anyone who stay here will have a most memorable and comfortable time in Budapest!! Many thanks to Akos( Tung Nguyen 22 May 2010)

I booked this for a surprise romantic weekend away, and wow..what a surprisewe both really couldn't fault this place! The location is superb, Akos is a very helpful and accomodating host, and the double bath..well just heaven (especially after a day's exploring enchanting Budapest). Little things like free laptop and wifi use, tour guides, and even slippers just topped the experience. We will definitely be back!

We highly recommend this apartment. It offers great value for money in a great location - the area is not too touristy and there are plenty of supermarkets and eating out options (try Kiskakukk Étterem just up the street at Pozsonyi Way 12). The apartment is very homely and gave us a sense of what it may be like to live in Budapest. The owner has thought of everything, including slippers! And it was very useful to have a laptop and WiFi - plus the fancy tub was great after a long day exploring. We hope to find ourselves in Budapest again and would definitely stay here.

I wish I had stayed longer! The apartment was beautiful, clean, quiet (I mean silent!) and within walking distance (about 5 minutes) of the train station and subway. Only a half block away was an English bookstore, restaurant/cafe with vegan food, convenience store, and a bar and restaurant with traditional foods - and a server who spoke several languages fluently. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in Budapest.
